Out of curiosity, how fast do you usually play through games?
On my end, I tend to play through them rather slowly, often taking several weeks to play through your average game. Some RPGs, especially ones that aren't portable, can often take me months to complete. As much as I'm loving Xenoblade Chronicles, I'm still far from seeing it's end! Likewise, I started playing Pokémon White 2 on the week of it's release, but I'm nowhere close to taking on the champion, or whatever his/her title is. This actually becomes a problem with games having a single player adventure along with a multiplayer component. While I usually want to wait until I've beat most the core single player experience to get some practice before going online, and since it takes me a while to go through the game; by the time I'm ready most of the people I know have already beat the game, played their share online and have mostly lost interest in it.
Am I simply asking the wrong people, and there are many others out there doing the same as me? Or am I in the minority being in this situation?
So, which is it for you? Fast gamer chewing through games, or slow-and-steady taking it's time to enjoy the experience?
