Looks like they decided to make a sequel to the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. No word on what it's subtitle will be at current, but it's supposed to come out next year in Japan and this holiday season in North America... which has me wondering if this is real or not.

I first thought this could be a "lost in translation" situation about a 3DS remake / Master Quest edition, but the article is quite clear on it being a full-blown sequel. Surprising news.

I don't think that the release date order is of any importance. Games and systems tend to be released more and more here at about the same time as in Japan, or even earlier. I wouldn't read much into that.

I've watched several videos about it myself, I know it's real. I was hoping for the original to be remade as such tho imo.
