Guys, I think you broke it...
The End, I mean. Magic seems fine.
Terror at Dawn
Render time: 25 hours
Picture this: you just woke up. You still feel sleepy. You stretch yourself a bit, walk up to the window, and open the blinds. Then you see THESE...
The two statues were built by AshaLina in Exodio's Desert Compound. They oversee part of the living quarters, toward the back of the area. Pray that they never start moving!

Love it. One of my favorite things to do to people who haven't been over is to have them get to my house via the Nether. I then have them climb the ladder out and they end up face to face with Poofy the Frolicsome Spider.
Gets em every time. Thanks Asha!
The render is awesome, and the time setting is great... but I feel the realistic clouds are out of place, considering the focus on the pixel statues. However, this may just be early morning tired speaking. If they start walking, mob griefing has to be turned on, I wanna see the hole it makes.
This my signature area... mine, yes.. so... stuff.
Sky High Battleground
Render time: 68 hours
Orist501's Sky Arena has been the favorite PvP location of most players since it was opened to the public. The simple layout, easily-accessed beds and multiple viewing options make it popular to both fighters and onlookers!
This is a companion of sorts to the previous render I did of Orist's tower. The weather conditions are similar, which isn't too surprising when you're lost in the middle of the sea! You can spy the tower at the back of the new render. The distance between the two is about a kilometer, or 1000 blocks. That's a render distance of about 63 chunks, for those keeping score!

Round And Round The Wheel Goes
Render time: 35 hours
This mixed wind / water mill is located due west of Central, alongside the Western Line. It was made some time back by AleXxXfry, MillieMunchers and rectalr0ckets, near their little village. This building looks nice from pretty much every angle and fits well in that area!
I used a popular image mode for this render: the picture is focused on the building itself, with everything else blurred out. The depth of vision offered makes for a more realistic shot, and I felt like it made the mill stand out over Tex's pyramid, Exo's first castle and Wind's volcano that you can spy in the background. I think that many people overuse this feature, though. I like seeing details everywhere!

A Round World
Render time: 17 hours
I decided to have a bit of fun with this one. This is obviously Central, centered on the spawn gate, as if viewed through a fisheye lens. It gives a unique visual on the place, and I feel like it could work well as a server promo shot!

NICE! Definitely a good promo pic as it is extremely eye catching.

Far Away Base
Render time: 24 hours
Racooneel's fortress lies far away from most players, in the greater Townshend area. It's one of those large scale settlements that never quite seem to be complete, yet grow organicially by using the surrounding terrain instead of simply taking it over.

Underwater Reflections
Render time: 81 hours
I like well-made tunnels, and underwater ones always have a special look going for them. This one is located near Port Townshend and is used to reach a few buildings, including Racooneel's fortress. I decided to try to do a render just to see how it'd come out, and it certainly gave a unique result! There is only one tunnel in this area: solid floor, two glass walls and a glass ceiling. However, the light creates multiple reflections, giving the illusions that many, many more walls and torches are visible around. You can even see the rail itself being projected on the ceiling!

That is the tunnel I made a veeerryyy looong time ago. Actually was one of my first builds on the server, right after I finished my Keep.
Hall of the Lost Footsteps
Render time: 75 hours
This is the main concourse of my latest building, Rodinia Central Station. I've built four major train stations so far, and this one is definitely my favorite out of the set! I designed the main hall so that it would be always illuminated, day in day out, so there are plenty of windows and secondary light sources.
I made sure with this image that the sun rays would peek through the windows at the right, giving the image that extra little touch. Funnily enough, the render doesn't make glowstone and sea lanterns emit as much light as expected, so the ceiling is slightly darker than it'd appear in-game. Still, there's plenty of contrast to see the detailed pattern I went with!

Picard to Chief O'Brien
Render time: 18 hours
This room is part of the teleportation network used during Events Nights and is modeled after the one seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Sphenicus aimed to replicate the brightly lit rooms of the Enterprise D, giving this image a warm yellow tint.

Lost Guru
Render time: 47 hours
Most if not all of you have walked through the End of Time at some point. It was built by Sphenicus as a teleportation hub for Events Night; he came up with the idea shortly after I thought up the concept of a dedicated time to run single and group activities. It is as accurate as he could do with the blocks then available!
I tried to get the angle as close to the original room as possible, although I couldn't do it perfectly as I kept smashing the camera on the ceiling. I like how the light shines through the iron fences, and the low light setting gives it a nice vibe!

Flying Doom
Render time: 6 hours
Our local Master of the Withers commissioned MaximumRose to build him a wither statue. A bit of miscommunication caused her to build a wither boss, while he meant a wither skeleton...! Still, either of them are a symbol of the doom carried by the power of grey skulls!

Peaceful Boulevard
Render time: 69 hours
This is Oak Hills, looking west while standing in the middle of the boulevard (how reckless). I did a night scene of the town before, but I wanted one at street level with some improved detailing! You can spot the recent-ish junction station at the far back.
Fun side note: this is the one picture I've generated so far that went through the most rendering steps. Others like the inside of the Hagia Sophia and the end portal room ran for more time, but each frame took more time to generate too!

A Vision of Famine and Fury
Render time: 71 hours
This mysterious castle is settled far from most prying eyes, in a rather unique location. Few have laid eyes on it, and those who did faced great perils by doing so. I'm keeping the name of the designer and inhabitant to myself; that person can reveal themselves to us should they desire!
This is picture 1 out of four in a series!

Cool, question, is that an actual flag on the flagpole or something added by the render process? If actual, how does one create a flag?
Exodio's Dad (Salifax's Father)
Those are two giant flags made out of wool blocks, it's nothing more complicated than that! They do look like they're moving in the breeze from that angle, though.
