On some of the ads I've posted for the Creeper's Lab, I point visitors to the main page of the website. I realize now that this isn't ideal, as it doesn't tell them what to do to start playing.

To improve on this, I've designed a new landing page for new potential players, where they'll find everything that they need to get started. I'm going for a minimalist approach, straight and to the point to avoid an information overload.

Looking at the page, put yourself in the mindset of someone coming in with no idea of what we do besides being a Minecraft server. I've put there the server address, the whitelisting instructions and a few useful links. How's the information I'm presenting? Is there something that should be added? Something useless that should be removed? Something unclear that could use a rewrite?

I used this opportunity to take new screenshots to reflect the new forums look along with the simplified registration setup that went live a few months back.

Any thoughts on how this could be improved?

All right, an update to the landing page!

• I've added some key points at the beginning to set the expectations.
• I've included the current server number next to the Java Edition mention and bolded both.
• I've listed at the bottom the renders to our Seven Wonders with a link to the full images gallery.

I've made some additions to the landing page now that we've introduced support for Bedrock players. I've added visual markers for the two versions so they're clearly labelled and I've updated the registration instructions for the Bedrock players. Smaller detail, I've improved the usability of the screenshots by having a pop-up effect on them.

Is there something else that you think belongs on this page, or something unclear in the current instructions?
