As you were monitored directly by a staff member, there is no question as to whether or not mods/hacks/etc were used. As it stands, there is no reason for us to take your word over theirs, especially as you have been banned before claiming you did not know what griefing was. After that unbanning you were informed by Doctacosa, the owner, himself to make sure to read through the rules. This ban will not be undone.

So this is why you were constantly leaving and rejoining the server while in the lava pit. Spawn protection is a gameplay change, and what the rule is about. The point stands.
