My mom won\'t let me play counter-strike online, even though i already told her that you don\'t go into friendly conversation. She says she does not want me to play games with strangers. I need you people to help me tell her something that will let me pkay online without mentioning this message board. Please help me.

Tell her it\'s only your FRIENDS online. Or, just sneak play it like you do the mboard. FRed has the same problem... Poor souls.

Okay, I have this game too. You can\'t do anything about what other players type, but the server admins will kick server idiots. You can choose to ignore idiots who talk through a microphone too. So, in the end, it\'s not a bad type of game, but the names can get very bad though...

Not to mention if your parents say not to play it, guess what? It wouldn\'t be a good idea to play them then, \'cause

(a) If your parents dont think its a good idea, then too often, its not.
(2) If you get caught, you could get in trouble
(c) If *I* catch you, you will be in trouble.

I guess I know why. My parents let me play games that sort of stuff as long as I don\'t try to meat anyone but why would I want to do that anyway? And if someone wanted to beat me up, then they wouldn\'t be able to. I mean, what\'re they gonna do? Stick their foot through the computer? No, that\'s not why AirMan. I presume that his parents don\'t want him to play online games because of the weird people out there. They can hack or people can give out too much information or some people are just plain weird (I bet you know what I mean).

hm..... Ive been in the same thing once I couldn\'t play my game I made called SkullMans Rampage you can kill anyone you want and other charaters are skelatons you can start riots or fight one another :muha::devil:

I don\'t think that\'s overprotective.. Depending on how old Domo-kun is, I surely wouldn\'t let him play online either if I was his parents. o.o But only because of pedophiles, like AirMan said.. They\'re all over the place, ya know..and they go to where kids play..and it\'s just plain icky.

Well why don\'t you just say that you\'ll be carfull and then if they say no then they don\'t trust you.

Let her see you play one game without talking to people then if they say its ok you can justtalk to other people as soon as she leaves.

Well, Domo-Kun, Counter-Strike is packed with weirdos, but the \"GO! GO! GO!\" is an automatic recording you can choose to say. People can talk directly through too, but you can ignore them with feature. Trust me. I play Counter-Strike everyday.
