Are you talking about...

Castlevania X, SNES, English

Castlevania X Nocturne in the Moonlight, PSX, Japanese

or Castlevania X Chi no Rondo (Rondo of Blood), Megadrive, Japanese? There\'s also Castlevania XX but that\'s the SNES game\'s name in Japan..

I got through that game on a bet.. I suck at action games, so someone bet I couldn\'t get through it..they lost. :D

Anyway, yes..this is a cool game. Richter\'s a cool Belmont, and the saving the girls thing is pretty cool. Death was a cheap bastard too, but he always is.. :)

out of all of the Belmonts Richter is my favorite next to Simon.

Actually, Akumajo Dracula X: Chi no Rondo was for the PC-Engine (Turbo Grfx 16) CD.

I usually hate the type who pop in just to say \"haha, you\'re wrong!\" but let it be known, that\'s not why I\'m here. I wanted to respond to the topic.

I\'ve played the US and Japanese SNES versions, and the PC-Engine CD version. I love them all, but I can easily say that the PC-Engine CD version makes the other two look like a friggin\' joke. The fight with Death was no cheaper, but far cooler (as was the entire game.)

Do I actually have a PC-Engine CD? No. I think anyone with a brain can put two and two together on that one.;D

I sure as hell wouldn\'t shell out 200 US dollars on Ebay for that piece of..err.. Yeah, I have a ROM of it too.

I dunno, I don\'t like Rondo. Made me realize how lazy Konami is, and how SotN had recolored sprites of alot of the Rondo enemies.

And about the PC Engine deal..it\'s had many names, including MegaDrive something something..so I named whatever came to mind first, ah well. o.o

Oh, I see. It\'s just that, I could swear that \"MegaDrive\" was the Japanese name for the Genesis.

I just liked how much more complete Rondo felt than the SNES ones. So many corners cut to fit it on a cartridge. But my favorite of all is the save feature, lets you go back and get all the endings. I thought that was a nice touch. Though certain special effects were a little nicer on the SNES...

I guess it goes without saying, but the US one took a hit for the censoring and stuff.

It is. I guess Hollow did a little mistake... MegaDrive is also used in Europe, I believe.
