First a few questions:

Best ep\'s?
Worst ep\'s? (I know about the lion one.. *shudders*)

Also I have a few thoughts:
The animation quality, and new character design for the robot masters where good, as was the voice acting (gotta love Cutman.), it was purely the storyline that kinda spoilt it, (Protoman acted more like Bass would of, and, WHY was he evil?), altough it got some of the facts right (I think), and many wrong (for starters, Roll was never a battle robot.).

And also notice how Dr Light \"conveiently\" built something to stop Dr Wily doing THAT plan ever again?
And as for gaining weapons.. he doesn\'t need to defeat robots? Everybody say \"huh?!\".

Apart from the odd STUPID ep, (Lion people... what WERE they thinking.) I thought it wasn\'t as bad as people made out, and i\'m looking forward to the DVD\'s.
(Since the video I got, is, very poor quality, but hey, at least it\'s watchable.)
Anyone else got any thoughts about it?
Just wanna know what people thought were stupid and what people think is ok about it, because, truth be told, i\'ve seen worse cartoons.

Any reason why it got flames?
I was just curious to what people thought of it, because (apart from the Lion Ep) I liked it, even if it was inarrurate. (Heck, Sonic the Hedgehog follows a completely different story, even Robotnik changes.)

I think they should make a MMX anime. It would actual have a story to follow.

Personally, I don\'t care if the storyline is exact, so long to ep\'s themes are good. (And no Cartoon should have that Lion Ep.. yeesh..)

Breakman: I enjoyed the cartoon myself, just some episodes were more stupid than others. (The lion one, for example.)

Overall I liked the series and yes the Lion one wasn\'t one of thier better ideas. I liked the episode that featured X and Vile coming back to the past for some reason. I liked the way they drew Vile for that episode. X looked pretty cool too.

I loved it...when I was 6...Nowadays...*shudders* It\'s stoopid. Mets are supposed to kill Megaman, and Eddie is red, not green, and who in the ****ing h*** thought Protoman was EVIL!? As for the lion thingy, I\'m surprised I didn\'t fall over and have a convulsion. (no offense ment to anyone, except for the makers of the show)

Yep, I agree with you on all those points. If Protoman was Bass instead, maybe that would of improved it :-D

I see why they got confused, Protoman attacks Megaman in MM3, and is \"evil\" in MM5 (but we all know its Darkman, even THEY knew it was Darkman, look at the episode with Darkman in it!), and Wily says that Protoman \"betrayed him\" in MM4.

Apart from the errors, like I said above, I found it enjoyable. Unlike most cartoons.

The artwork in that show hurts my eyes bad.
I saw the rocketship episode or something. Even that ate my brains.
I need to see more of the show before I can really make a decision, but good god, the artwork is NOT right for something that\'s from Japan. Muscles?! AUGRGH! (It seems wrong for a young robot to have a six-pack muscles... doesn\'t it? -.- Megaman is something like 8-year old?)
Roll, good god! I have problems with Roll\'s design in the show. Looks too much like a sterotypical chick... -.-;
I\'m really picky when it comes to art, but art didn\'t fit with the original characters very well in that show. ^^;

Only anime that I\'ve really loved was .EXE... but that\'s because I have access to it. e.e;;;

Fox had this stupid thing \"Made in Japan\" thingie that they were showing with Megaman. The original games were made in Japan, alright, but the horrible animation wasn\'t. >_<

American cartoon Megaman with muscle really sucks and the story is terrible and confused story and see the special X came from the future looked so ugly and funny looking, ugh! Stupid American drawing that! Rockman Anime rules and its best ever and japan rules!

I did enjoy the style of robots they had in the American show.
I think the way they made Mega Man really fit the description \'Man\'.

I didn\'t like the idea of Proto Man being a bad guy. The show itself wasn\'t that painful. They tried to make Mega Man into a real Super hero in this show like Superman and Batman, if you catch my drift. Even the voices were pretty good.

I didn\'t like Roll to much in that show. She was a butchy butt ugly wench. She was considered to be Mega Man\'s sidekick as well. Her arm can transform into about anything. Then there\'s \'Scooby\' Rush. Rush could kind of talk and most of the episodes would end in him doing something stupid. I guess every show needs some funny moments. Like this:

I didn\'t really have a problem with how the characters were drawn. There were some pretty good episodes but a fair number of them were either not that good or just made you wonder what they were smoking.

At, first I had a problem with Protoman as a villian, though it did set up one of the better episodes were he pretends to be free from Wily\'s control. Then when I thought about they had to give Wily at least one competent underling and Bass wasn\'t introduced to the US when the show first aired. I thought the voices for Wily, Protoman, and Megaman were good.
I don\'t think it really helped the show that much by making Rush talk.

I thought that would have made a great episode though. Wily creates Bass to replace Protoman and the two fight it out to see who stays. It could have also been used a plot device to make Proto a good guy.

Okay but many people at other megaman site that have a vote and the highest vote agreed that megaman cartoon of USA version and storyline is very sucks and ridiculed! So it is your opinion which is fine but I am glad that many people dont think so and japan anime rules still.

See, many usa cartoons make by usa only show immature and goofy that can advice kids actually behave silly things like ED, EDD, EDDY..its horrible and ugly showing. It make kids acting weird too. Japan anime is more of an interesting show of the fantasy and excitement. U see like Digimon kids..they are not goofy or dumbs like ED EDD and EDDY is or anything show. So, thats why I know JAPAN ANIME is the best ever for kids and also for an adults. Here an adults dont watched stupid american cartoons like ed edd and eddy or nickendoen channel. I hate that. Most adults think disney channels are for kids and teenagers. So see ? JAPAN ANIME IS for kids and adults and its best! Long live Japan anime! USA cartoon better get trashed and replace Japan anime in english instead of course if they didnt edited it which they did. Thats stupid and they make us looks stupider for edited it out to prevent us knowing what it is. Same for Dragon Ball Z..it has a lots of edited which I have DVD show unedited and surprised me because usa edited it out a lot and any japan animes like Digimon Frontier in USA edited out alots too to make us looks stupider. SO USA is dumber than I thought. Tsk tsk. Don\'t get me wrong. I am an american and I dont mind saying USA is dumber because USA is for edited out. Oh Please!

I\'m not claiming that the USA Megaman cartoon is the best ever. I just try to remember the parts I liked about it.

You are right about there being no storyline, putting one in may have helped it out. Some plots for the episodes, as I\'ve stated before, could have been better.

I actually do like anime and find it annoying when parts are edited out. But there some things in anime that I would be hesitant to let my younger cousins watch or not let them see at all. I don\'t think all anime is suitable for both kids and adults, though is a lot that is suitable for both.

There still a few US cartoons that are pretty good, Samurai Jack for instance.

Actually, Tom & Jerry is good cartoon too but the more I see the usa cartoon and more I realized that Japan anime only do them continuously story until the end. Like DB, DBZ, and many other japanese anime. USA doesnt. They just do one episodes each difference story for being ridiculous. Tom and Jerry is an example that dont have continuous story. Samurai Jack is also dont have continous story and I dont like this show. True that drawing is neatly and almost japanese style but I still vote JAPAN ANIME the best than USA cartoon.

Ah, the Mega Man cartoon.
I remember seeing the commercial for when it came out. I was, what, five? ^__^ Ah, the good old days... back when all the kids on the playground playing \"Lion King\" or \"Power Rangers\", I was over with Seung playing Mega Man XD Sometimes we\'d even join up with the Power Rangers kids! \"Eat Plasma, putties!\"

But that\'s quite beside the point. How did you like the old 90\'s cartoon? And I don\'t mean the EXE anime or the DVD special, either. I mean the cartoon that screwed everything up. =P

Mega Man\'s muscular-ness annoyed me - but aside from that, he was such a bishonen.
Protoman\'s evil-ness was cool, darnit! It added so much mental torment for the both of them, plus it was a good plot device! Take the episode \"Bro Bots\" (My favorite episode by far) where Protoman pretends to be good! And there\'s this one scene (Here\'s my favorite line in the whole series as well!)
Protoman: I\'ve been trying to go straight with you and you still mistrust me! You think you\'re too good for your own brother!
Megaman: You\'ve got it all wrong - I\'ve always wanted a real brother relationship with you.
Protoman: Y...you do?

And that episode in general was so sweet... you can just TELL Protoman wanted to *really* be good. That or drag his brother to Dr. Wily so they could BOTH be bad. One way or another, they wanted to be brothers...
