That sounds like a good idea. But knowing the companies, they will probably re-sell the old games on to discs to make you buy them again.

But Playstation 3, eh? All that Sony\'s got going for them is developers\' preference. I haven\'t seen many contributions from Sony themselves that\'re worth noting. If someone else steals their thunder, they\'re pretty much done for. I hope for Sony\'s sake they have something groundbreaking planned for PS3.

They do have the popularity factor, though. And I\'m not talking about bandwagon jumping. I\'m talking about getting the lesser-known companies\' lesser-known titles that turn out to be real gems. Guilty Gear, Thunder Force V, Ray Storm, those were some of my faves on PSX. That\'s part of what convinced me to get the PS2. But since they\'re lesser-known, they don\'t have much of on impact on the grand scheme of things. Forget it. I\'m just rambling.

It might be PS3. I heard in a mag that Microsoft is making Xbox 2. I\'ve got no clue about Nintendo.

It will happen because if you look back like 3 years ago there was a commerical about PS9 and they cant just make PS9 after PS2. They have to make PS3 4 5 6 7 and 8 first.
