You can try and beat him for his chips when you have a good strategy. I think that you should try and beat him a few times normally w/o collect first.
Okay... Gotta get the chips BlueSilver recommended though.

Aw... That means more work for me. Oh and in case you were wondering how I got 3,042 Bug Frags, I get them by doing battle with Mettaurs in the Armor in Yoka. I also master styles there.
