umm... what is the best way to S desertman in under 20 seconds to get his v4? how bout flamMan or drill man... the only thing i can think is if i get luck and get bodyguard program advance, but that wouldn\'t really work on desertman becuase he moves every time he gets hit... :madgo: help please:conf:

To get past Japanmans door you need one gigachip, the only possible you could probably get right now is in the Hades Island Gargoyle Statue. So....go to Hades isle and jack in to the gargoyle statue and enter the warp point it will take you to a bugfrag trader, the gigachip is at the bottom of his list.

Now, this has a few strategies, though I\'m sure that the expert FolderBuilders will criticize the variation of Codes. You can use the Bubble series for up to 4 BubbleSpread PA\'s, doing 300 dmg each and stunning him for a short time, as all water chips do. the hands and other obstacles won\'t destroy the BlackBomb and TimeBomb chips unless they were already moving towards the panel upon which they were placed. The Heat Sides are useful for throwing and lighting the BlackBombs in one shot, or just for hitting SandMan by himself. the fans and winds will clear off the field (I know his side, most likely yours as well), as well as hit anything on that row for 50 damage when the sand is blown off. and you can fill in the last chip with whichever navi or other chip you deam useful. Hope that helped with him, and I\'ll try to come up with a good strategy for him for you!

The C-Slider is composed of 3 parts: the Board, Wing, and Jet parts. these cost 2000, 3000, and 4000z, for a total of 9000z, plus up to 4500z for other expenses.

go into Yumland and find the area where the upper path crosses the lower path. hidden at one of these two points is a purple \"evil\" navi who will sell you one type of part. next, go to Town 2. take the warp to the area with 2 doors you can\'t open. find the pink navi hiding beneath one of the paths near the left door, and buy the part. finally, head to Park 1. find the white path near the bottom of the screen. this will take you to Town 3, on the lower area. the bottom path hides the green navi who sells the final part.

Jack out (assuming you\'re in Netopia\'s Hotel), then jack back in. head up the stairs into Sharo area. travel as far towards the top as you can, then head off to the left. if you\'ve made it to his scenario, you can fight ColdMan up at the top, on your way down. at a certain point, you\'ll come across a path that makes a U-turn and stops at a door. this is where your 500z come in: that will open the door, leading to a girl navi and a Purple Mystery Data. if you bought an unlocker for 4000z, you can use it to get BlackBomb Z, which will come in extremely handy if you haven\'t played the ColdMan scenario yet.

The Girl Navi will then ask for your parts, and she\'ll explain that she\'s the one making you the C-Slider. From here it\'s a short jaunt back through Netopia and NetFrica areas to get to the other part of Sharo leading to the Undernet.

Yes, all of this comes from memory and caffine (it\'s 12:45 right now on the East Cost). Curse having to play the ProtoMan scenario twice! Glad to help, though.

when you come up from the sled go to the first house you see and press a. you\'ll get the shovel.

what do you mean by button combo?

well, Heatbreath K is easy to get, just find a Whomper virus and beat the stuffing out of it. you should get some version of Heatbreath, and if it isn\'t in K code, head to Higsby\'s to collect your consolation prize. As for BlackBomb Z, head to Sharo area, along with 500z and an Unlocker. go down the left side of the transportation strips, until you reach a U-turn. pay 500z to get past the door, and unlock the PMD next to the girl navi, who incidentally will give you the C-slider if you have the correct parts.

Yes, but if you want a lava stage K, you\'ll be looking a while, it isn\'t in MMBN4. an attack that leaves fire pannels behind is Heatbreath. also, I think if you check out the arangement of the torches, it shows the attack pattern. heatbreath has the same pattern as the torch placement. as for the code breaker, I\'ll asume you mean the Unlocker, which can be bought from most SubChip dealers for 4000z. try on the net or the guys in scientists\' lab coats.

Whomper viruses...uh, toy robo comps, maybe? I\'m not sure. as for the codebreaker, I\'m pretty sure that it was taken out of the game, because that\'s one of the major gripes of people writing articles about the game: they can\'t do anything about the bugs, aside from using BugStop.

Does anyone know an easy way to annihilate Laserman/ShademanSP? Without destroying the GMD, of course. Also, where can I find MetalMan? Not for the campaign, though. Thanks in advance!

Hmm...ShadeMan SP is the hardest for me, because I still haven\'t found LaserMan SP yet. simplest way to beat him without destroying the Mystery Data is to use chips that hit, say, the second row, or always hit the front row, like MetaGel and the FlameLine series. best advice:

Hang out in the bottom corner of the screen, and wait for him to preform his signature screech attack; you\'ll know when he does it because he\'ll cross into your territory. as soon as he does this, hit him with a charged Mega-buster attack, then use Metagel, or step forward and use WoodBreath. A good combo is to use WoodBreath the first time, then FlameLine the second. all the FlameLine chips and the Woodbreath chip are F coded. also, use a barrier chip to block his screech, and use GunSol Chips on him when he attacks. any PA\'s should be preceded by a charge attack, since you can only hit the bat for more than a regular buster shot worth of damage.

LaserMan strategy: go into Undernet 4, along with 72 bugfrags, and buy yourself the Reflect NaviCust program. this is the most effective program I\'ve found thus far. the only thing you have to watch out for when fighting this guy is the hand laser, which stops time and doesn\'t give you any preparation to block it. use a barrier chip and you should be set for the battle!

MetalMan should be located in Undernet 3, on your way to Undernet 6. between the 2nd and 3rd warps is a section of path that forms a rectangle whose path heads to the right. the panel connecting the two right-facing extensions has MetalMan on it, unless I\'m mistaken and that\'s another navi. But I\'m 96.43% sure that it\'s him.

EDIT: I was so excited at just beating shadeMan myself, forgot to put the laserman and metalman stuff up! oops...
