So, has anyone else seen The Matrix: Reloaded yet? I saw it tonight, and I wasn\'t disappointed.
The movie surely isn\'t perfect though. I felt the beginning was awkward myself. While it makes sense when Neo awakes from the dream, the premonition just seems a weird way to start out the movie. It left me with the responce of \"what the hell\" when I first saw Trinity jump through the window.
As the movie progressed over to Zion, I wasn\'t too impressed. The dancing/rave, whatever the hell that was after Morpheus gave his speech was just incredibly stupid and out of place in my opinion. At this point I was starting to have some major doubts about the movie. Fortunately, Reloaded got quite abit better as it progressed.
The fight with the numerous Agent Smiths was a very cool scene. However, one can easily tell when the film switched over to the special effects CGI, and well.. it hurt the flow in my opinion. Not so much that the scene wasn\'t that good or was ruined, because I honestly really enjoyed that scene. On a side note, Agent Smith kicked ass in Reloaded. I liked him in the predecessor, but he was alot cooler in Reloaded. I found it humourous when he tried to copy himself into Morpheus; however, when he copied himself into another agent, that impressed me more. Just the fact that he had no regard for his former companions.. it was cool.
I was slightly disappointed with the use of the twins or whatever the hell they were. You know, the guys in the white suits. I found myself a pretty big fan of their design, I would have liked to have seen them more. One question though; does anyone know if they died? The explosion could have killed them, but when they did that weird ghost like thing before, they couldn\'t be harmed and it seemed to heal them. I wasn\'t really sure what happened to them..
I enjoyed Neo\'s conversation with the Architect. The One\'s purpose completely inversed at that moment. Instead of being the cliche of the one fated to save all, blah blah, we found out that their meaning is something different, and that Neo isn\'t even the first. I liked that. Also, this changed my veiw of the Oracle as well.
The ending was sorta weird though. It didn\'t make sense why Neo could sense and destroy the Sentinals. Oh well.. Revolutions will resolve this, and until then, I won\'t jump to any conclusions myself. It\'s too bad that November is so far away..
I once ruled Interordi with an iron fist.
