what style types are there in the newest addition to the Battle network series

yeah. there are:

bug style: creates glitches
ground style: alters the battlefield (lava panels gras panels etc...)
shadow style:??? not sure.
ground is supposed to be for white version only and shadow for blue version only.

Cool is the bug style in both versions or just in one of them?:conf:

Don\'t get too excited about bug-style. The reason why I say this is because I watched the japanese version of Battle Network when it was MegaMan vs. Gospel. Bass had been deleted when he tried using the power to absorb data on Gospel. Unfortunately for him, it back fired and he wound up destroying himself. Way earliear, Bass somehow gave that power to MegaMan when he read his mind. The bug inside of Mega (I\'m calling him that way cause it\'s shorter) began to feed off of him or something. Then, when Mega changed into his Aqau Attack style, the bug kinda chose that. After deleting MagnetMan, it was just Mega vs. Gospel (I bet you know who won) but, Mega was different. He was in his Aqua Attack style but had viral lines all over him. Sure, he had gotten an incredible boost of speed as well as power, but the bug style started to control Mega. He used the power to absorb data to destroy Gospel once, then the second time he did it he deleted Gospel, but he nearly took the entire internet with it and himself. If Lan hadn\'t tried to bring Mega back, the internet and I guess the real world too, would\'ve been destroyed by the bug-style\'s destructive powers. So, don\'t get too cocky about bug-style. Even though there\'s a difference between the game and the show, the designers could\'ve made it that way to see if you\'d react a certain way or something.

Actually to be honest, I have MMBN3 and beleive me, what I just said about bug-style controling Mega did take its toll out on me. It actually made me stay put to get deleted. Another thing, it wouldn\'t allow me to go to the custom guage. Plus, that absorbtion thing I was talking about, it did that too. But these only happened a few times. The weird thing though, is that I was able to delete enemies in one shot. My friends who also have the game got bug-style too but the one shot thing didn\'t work with theirs. Maybe mine is a special type. I say that because the cartridge is both blue and white. I\'ve got a weird feeling about it.

Gee...for a newcomer here I seem to know a lot about MMBN wouldn\'t you say? Well...considering that I\'ve played it about 5 billion times. So, I guess that sort of makes me a Wiz at this thing. But, I still have plenty to learn and much more to discover. I\'ll do you guys a favor and look up that Shadow-style. If I\'m right, it should make you invulnerable to all attacks except for swords, as well as permits you to do a step-sword like attack when you charge up your buster. Bug style is a style that generates random glitches in battle.
some of these are...
-Kill enemys with one shot-
-Start in different locations on the grid-
-Be PULLED to certain locations on the grid-
-Higher rate of movement-
-no custom screen-
-always able to go to custom screen-
-random stats-
-random element???-
And you get the ability to stop ALL glitches once you reach Level 2

I heard about a GRAND style for white... I have no idea what it is, can someone tell me

I can only tell you what I think Grand-style is. You\'ve heard of that style called King-Guts for Battle Network 2 right? Well, I believe that\'s what the Grand-style is, only it\'s slightly modified or something along those lines

There is no such thing as Grand or King guts style, there never was and hopefully nerer will. I know this because I ordered both mmbn 3 games from japan and I obtained every style snd there is no grand or king guts. The closest thing to Grand or king guts would be the Master Style program advance, trust me I know because I got the names of the styles translated by my Karate Sensei John Spence. So dont think about dissagreeing with me or I\'ll go Shorin- Ryu on your sorry @$$ .

There is such thing as Grand-style, as well as King-Guts (in MMBN2). You just need to do a certain thing to earn it. Like, doing certain jobs or something. Besides, I have both games and I was able to get those. But, because I deleted my data on accident, I don\'t posess their incredible powers anymore:cry:

There is no King-Guts. That was a very stupid rumor that started way back when. There is also no such thing as Grand, it was just a misspeling of Ground on a megaman page a while back that started some speculation. The only new styles are...
-Shadow-blue
-Ground-white
Bug--both

So, that\'s the big difference between Blue and White? Shadow Style and Groud Style? I guess the question is which one is better?

Unless both games have different chips, then you really have to boggle your brain to decide which one you\'ll buy. I heard that certain characters appear only in a certain Version. Please don\'t be true...

*cross\' fingers in hope that Bass and Serenade will be in the Version he buys*

Of course, you can always by both. That way, you could have two MMBN3 files! Once you finish one Version, go buy the other!

Nope i checked again and there is only three but i have a friend that says their is a \"Gats\" style which fires really fast but takes charge down to 1 but i know he is blowing steam out of his ass.

Yes. Bug-style is one of the styles on the back of the case. You can get heat-bug, aqua-bug, and elec-bug. you should get white and not black.

Really? I thought Bug, Ground, and the other styles were just one style I had no idea that they came in different elements.:eek:
