The book is used in conjunction with the Old Launcher and the Arm Supporter to make the spread buster special weapon, which fires 2,3, or 5 genades at a time depending on the attack level.

In MML any time you find an item that cannot be used as is take it to Roll or the museum. Also pay attention to what some people say in case one of the items you find is something they are looking for.
