This is my first EXE fan fic.

Chap. 1

\"Roll, dodge it\"

Roll jump out of theway of an oncoming group of kunai. She had to keep jumping back in order to prevent them from catching her.

\"Roll-chan!\" Rain screamed from the background as she watched kunai blades pushing her further back.

\"Battle Chip, Grand Dream, slot-in!\" Kenta said as he jammed in his custom battle chip. RAin obviously reacted quickly as five tornadoes surrounded him and he became the sixth tornado as they charged forward.

Roll was still jumping back, trying to avoided the blast of kunai. She was doing a pretty good job until she lost her balance and fell flat on her back. As the dust kicked up, Roll thought she could use this as a way to get away. But as she backed up, she knocked into someone. The dust cleared and above her, Shadowman.

\"Roll, you have avoided me long enough. Time to get rid of you.\" Shadow grinned as he pull a sword from his back.

Roll\'s eyes widenned as the sword appeared in front of her. \"The Marumasa.\" She could only fight back unless you wanted to be deleted. \"Heart Flash!\" Roll yelled as heart bombarded Shadowman\'s chest. It stunned him for only a second, but it was enough for Roll to get up and run. Only Shadowman was right in front of her.

\"You know, it\'s amazing what a bit of Kawamari magic can do for you.\" Roll looked back and saw a doll of Shadowman. This was it. She couldn\'t run anymore. Shadowman raise the Marumasa to deliver the final blow.

*Rumble, rumble, rumble, rumble*

\"Huh?\" A perplexed Shadowman dropped thee Marumasa to his thigh. The rumble was getting bigger each second. \"What the hell is going on?\"

\"YOU BASTARD!!\"

\"What?\" Shadowman had no time to question. In a swift moment, six tornadoes rose from the ground and surrounded him.

\"What is the meaning of- GAHHHH!!\"

Shadowman was being circle by all of the tornadoes. Huge cut marks were appearing everywhere the tornadoes touched, which was just about everything.

\"Kawamari Magic...what? Why won\'t it work? GAHHHH!\"

Moments later, the winds calmed down and disappeared, all except one, which was still twirling.

\"You call yourself a navi. You attack this girl on her way to the market.\"

Shadowman slowly got up. he was in no condition to fight back. \"Who...are you?\"

The twirling tornado stopped. A grey navi holding a pair of shurikuns slowly stopped spinning. \"Wait. That surprises you. It\'s me, Rain.EXE. Now leave.\"

He didn\'t have to told twice. Shadowman left in a cold of smoke. Rain walked over to Roll. \"Are you okay Roll-chan?\" Rain helped Roll up.

\"Yeah, I\'m fine. But why didn\'t Shadowman remember you?\" Roll asked. \"You were the one who defeated him in the Grand Trounament, right?\"

Rain put his hand on his head. He wasn\'t one for deep thinking. \"I don\'t know. But why are you here, ALONE, in Interordi Area? hackers have been running rampent here lately.\"

\"Well I was supposed to meet Rockman, Glyde, and Blues here, but-\"

\"HI RAIN! HI ROLL!!\"

Rain and Roll looked back, shocked. Rockman was running towards them. Blues was just walking. He, too, was shocked.

That idiot is going to bring attention to himself. Not a good thing to do in a hacker hotspot. Rain eyes thinned out.

Is that idiot trying to get us killed? Roll facepalmed.

Why did I agree to do something like this? Blues thought as he walked.

Chaos.EXE ran into an office. Digman and Shinzero were already there.

\"Looks like you\'re late again Chaos.\" Shinzero said, combing his silver hair.

\"Really, I don\'t know why the boss even put up with you.\" Digman added.

Chaos\' hands started to glow. \"How \'bout I transform you into a yellow metool. Then lets see who he put up with.\"

Digman raise his head. The horns on his forehand shined brightly signaling an attack. \"I\'d like to see you try it.\"

Shinzero sweatdropped. Will there ever be a day when those two will stop fighting?

\"Digman, Chaos, stop.\"

digman and Chaos obviously stopped fighting. They knew that voice. It was the boss.

\"You three, Rockman is here. What do we do?\"

Chaos.EXE, Digman.EXE, and Shinzero.EXE all looked at the boss wait for a reply.

\"Make him feel welcome. We can\'t let anymore hacker take over our web area.\"
