Ah, look, kids, a topic about BOOKS. Oooooh, scary!

Anyway, I tend to read a lot, but I really liked The Shining, Fahrenheit 451, and I, Robot. Anyone else have some favorites out there?

Actually, I wouldn\'t be surprised if nobody posts in this topic. It seems people have no time to read anymore, which is a big freaking shame...

I hope we don\'t turn out like something along the lines of Fahreinheit 451. No books....the idea makes me shiver.

EDIT: sorry for screwing up the flavour text. >.< I was holding my nephew. He likes to push buttons.

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Um, yer sorry. I should start reading books, i hardly read but i think i don\'t need to. I read about a page and then i get irritated. I\'m already intelligent so i\'m not that bothered.

My favorite book was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I\'ve read all the Harry Potter books, and I\'ve got the fifth pre-ordered. My favorite type of book is fantasy.

I have been told that the essence of being Splash Woman is not in attaining perfection, but in the attempt.

If so, then Splash Woman in general does not qualify as, well, human.

Wow, this topic got.....12 more posts than I expected! Cool!

I prefer Sci-Fi, Mystery, and Horror for my reading material. Nothing like curling up with a good copy of The Shining in a dark room....you can almost hear the scary music....

Factoid: Relos is actually a person from one of my own Sci-Fi stories. Nothing really special, I know....just more trivia to rot yer brains with. :D

All the star Wars novels I\'ve read are great too. So is LotR (which I did finish, along with The Silmarillion).

And you need brains. Lost and lots of brains.

The Hobbit was a really good book from a really good author.....How can you say it needs explosions? what it may need is more of an adventure element and maybe some magic, but other than that, it\'s a beautiful book.

Besides, I think it takes place in...oh, what is it.....oh yeah...MIDDLE EARTH. That means about 1000 A.D., you stupid. Gunpowder didn\'t even come around as an offesive weapon until about 1600 A.D. So there, you stuupid.
