Allthough it wasn\'t an anime game, it was sure one rememborlial classic...
I have downloaded them last week again. Really, they keep being fun. Especcially keen 4 and 6. It seems someone is making a 3d version, but it wouldn\'t be an official game..... anyways, do you remember? What do you think about them?

Keen4 was the first actual game I played. A friend of mine had some others, but those were only 5, 6 and dreams. And later, my dad found 1-3.

The producer of them went to another gaming company, but the rights stayed with ID. They said they would make a new game, but they didn\'t. The producer is working hard to get them rights back, but without succes. If he gets them back, he said he would make a 3D game.
If you want new Keen games, you should search for fangames, especially

RKP3 is made by Pieter Jordaan, and is really neat, especially because of the parodies in it. It contains parodies from LOTR, Star Wars Episode II and Pikmin.

ive beaten all the keens i miss those games...one day im playing doom2 and i get the secret secret level and ther a bunch of keens hanged u have to shoot them to win the level so sad:(

Well actually, you shoot the Keens in that level because one of the art designers for Doom, Adrian Carmack, previously designed the art for Commander Keen. He hated the series though, so he got them to put the Keens in that level to kill. Wasn\'t just him though, was another guy..can\'t remember his name. o.o
I never liked Commander Keen..I preferred Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem 2. Not the Duke most of you kids grew up with. =P Captain Comic was very fun too, but I bet no one knows about that one.
