Gundam Wing, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slayers, and Ronin Warriors are excellent choices. So is Rockman.EXE (But we all know that). If you like sappy love stories, Fushigi Yuugi is good too. Also, go for Bastard! and Dominion Tank Police, or even Ranma 1/2. And if you want Stereotypical, get Tenchi Muyo!

If you can find it, try Hunter X Hunter and Detective Conan.... Those are interesting too...;)

Seems like a late responce now, but I did see grave of the fireflies, and liked it a lot. It shows that even a cartoon can carry strong stories and emotions that some major studios, can\'t seem to produce.

Have you ever seen Ninja Scroll? I really like it! If your into RPG\'s and Fedeal Japan you\'ll like Ninja Scroll! I also wanted to see an anime called Ninja Cadets. Has anyone heard of it or seen it? If your into Sci-Fi Anime, try Ghost-In-A-Shell. It wasn\'t that bad I thought. I love Kenshin/Samuri X. I use to like DBZ but, I don\'t really like it anymore. Why? Because I got bored of it. Other then that, those are my opinions.:)
