I have a PS2 and not an Xbox, so of course my answer will be biased to a certain system. See if you can figure out what I\'d say.

Yeah, the Xbox does suck, IMO. The controllers are freaking huge, too boot. Here\'s an example...

But seriously, the Xbox\'s games are coming out for every other system, \'cept for Halo and the Microsoft like.

And I just don\'t like the PS2. Meh.

I\'d get a gamecube or GBASP if I could afford either.

Right now, I have a PS2 and enjoy it muchly for my PSX/PS2 games. (Mostly Capcom and Squaresoft games--wait, they ARE just Capcom and Squaresoft games. XD)
I also find it useful to use it as a dvd player because I own at least 20+ dvds.

However, I don\'t like X-Box and the fact that Microsoft bought out three game companies to have games for their crappy console.

I say GameCube or GBA/GBAsp.
But if you dun want those get ps2
The only non sucky game\'s on ps2
Tenchu 3
Zone of the ender\'s 1 and 2

I personally say GameCube, although the PlayStation 2 is also a good choice. About the XBox, (shudders) I don\'t think it\'s a very good option.

I was thinking about this today, actually. I came to the conclusions that:

Cube has the highest quality games. It\'s undeniable the amount of TLC Nintendo puts into their games. However, it also has the games you can most easily afford to miss. You can certainly live without it, but the pressing question is, would you really want to? I know I don\'t. (Bought one not too long ago. Ikaruga alone was worth it)

PS2 is the exact opposite of the Cube. A majority of the games that get popular have at least one quality that\'s extremely poor, be it the story, graphics, gameplay, or simply how long the game is. On the other hand, it has a lot of those games that you know you really don\'t want to miss. The pressing question here is, do you want to spend your money on those games, never knowing until all too late whether you\'ll play them again or not?

Quite honestly, I\'d choose the PS2. I like exploiting the fact that it attracts so many developers. I can get all those quirky, little-known games on here that I can\'t find anywhere else. Besides, the other two don\'t have Guilty Gear.

Xbox has the potential to be the happy medium. The games often have a decent blance between quality and coolness. However, there\'s something about these games. The style... the stories... the play. Xbox is essentially the console for PC gamers, which is ironic considering how most hardcore PC gamers hate \"console brats.\" What Gates was thinking was something nobody got... until he started buying up gaming companies.

I refuse to financially support such a venture. Diversity=good, and Gates is trying to eat up the competition. That=bad. Plain and simple. I\'m honestly surprised Microsoft hasn\'t already changed their slogan to \"Why delay the inevitable? Join us now or be taken by force.\" I actually know someone who bought an Xbox, going by that logic.

But like they say, \"to each his own.\" I strongly suggest you take everything on this page only as second opinions, and then choose for yourself. If it helps at all, go backwards and start by deciding which you like the least.

My opinion:

Gamecube. Sorry, I have no interest in Final Fantasy 10 and 11, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, DOA Volleyball, Halo, Halo, Halo, Guilty Gear, etc.

Did I mention that I don\'t want the Xbox\'s only talked about game; Halo?

I just want to play Animal Crossing (laugh all you want you closet Pokemon players), Nightfire, the Mario parties, F-Zero, Mario Kart.. Seriously, right now I can\'t think of anything but Aliens vs. Predator as a game on another system I\'d want..

The real problem is, that ALL games are starting to blow ass nowadays.

(Oh, and the GBA is good too, can\'t say no to it. But I say no to Nokia and \"PSX\")

Peh, I wasn\'t talking about FFXVXIIXVXII or GTA and their kind. Just that it seems everyone, no matter what they think of the system, has at least one game on it they\'re curious about. You know, like AvP.

But Aliens vs Predator is going to be real time strategy. Human marines vs primitive, violent aliens vs technologically advanced aliens real time strategy. I can\'t imagine starcraft where we\'ve seen that before. I don\'t know much about it, but at this point I \'d say that if you\'re looking for a game to give you a reason not to despise PS2, this one isn\'t it. But if they ported the PC AvP2...

And this is horribly off-topic. I\'ll stop now.

Actually, I know nothing about the game.. I just want it because I\'ll get to play as an Alien or Predator. I mean, a diehard freak like me wouldn\'t pass that up. And no, I don\'t have the PC game and I\'d doubt my computer (which likes to shut off randomly) would play it.. So yeah, alternative..

I think you shopuld get a GCN because the only game XBOX is going to have people playing is Halo2 and that doesnt come out for a LONG time yet, While the GCN has quite a few good games coming out. Like MMNT,F Zero GX and Mario Kart DD
