Thanks guys. 10 weapons left!!! Below are some new stuff. The Level Four Giggles will release 6 giant ground traps which attack enemies until they are destroyed. The Level Three Granite summons 2 Rock Soldiers which throw stones. When the stones hit the ground, they erupt into columns of rock. And finally, the Level Two Chrono reverses time to restore damaged buildings. The second attack is enhanced bullets after the time reversal has been activated.

Sorry guys, lol. I lost my head there for a second. In the course of spriting, I\'m always thinking of better weapons, and I\'m constantly changing things. The Granite 3 power was originally the two rock soldiers but I later changed that to Level 2 and made the Level 3 a Megaman dash move where his fist is covered in stone, this move allows him to shatter glass. And as for the Chrono Level 2, I posted it earlier but I decided to change the early one to Level 3 and the one I\'m posting now is the Level 2, see, things are always changing, lol.

Alright, I\'m glad to say that 4 weapons now remain!!! The remaining 4 are for the Phobos abilities and shouldn\'t be too hard. These powers are very cool. One in particular which I like is the shadow double. I didn\'t want to rip off the Split Mushroom ability so I made it that a shadow double emerges from Megaman and acts on his own. He can walk, climb, slide, shoot, pass through walls and do all sorts of cool things to help Megaman. I\'m currently spriting a few separate abilities that the shadow double uses. I\'ll probably be done with the weapons by tommorrow. Then I\'m going to work on that special feature I thought of to replace the enemy abilities. I sent Ace some of sheets to see if the format is okay for him to take the sprites and begin programming the weapons. I\'m so relieved that I\'m almost done with the weapons, we are one step closer to a demo. Stayed tuned! :D

Very very good! I had a idea for the hublo summoning. Megaman goes pure light and fires up into the sky 3 times. A skull falls down and cracks open as the screen goes white. Hublo is standing there then runs afew steps behind megaman as his dimond goes red. His life appeers under megamans

Please note, I haven\'t read the above posts, but I\'ll get around to responding to your comments and questions later. This post is mainly to inform you of what I\'ve been up to.

Wow, it has been a long while since I\'ve posted up here.:D I bet you are all aching for updates and I will not let you down! I\'ve been waiting with much aniticipation for Interordi to come back online and now that it has, I have much to post.

First on the list are the Seeker Weapons. All 60 are done!! Enough said. Making the weapons were simply the hardest part of the process so far as I wanted the weapons to not only look cool and original, I wanted the weapons to actually do something besides aid Megaman in crushing foes and felling bosses. And you will all find that almost every weapon has different effects on either Megaman or the environment itself.

When the weapons were done, I thought I would be done with weapons all together, but I was wrong. Expanding on the characters of Rush, Roll, Protoman and company, I created Ally Abilities, 22 in all. These beauties all allow Megaman to summon characters who will either attack by his side, like Protoman, heal him, like Roll, or provide transportation and such, like Tango in the new marine mode. So in short, Beat, Tango, Rush, Auto, Roll, Eddie, and Protoman will help in this adventure, all of which have at least 3 unique abilites at their disposal. As these abilities aren\'t really weapons in a sense that Megaman isn\'t using them, they require energy much different from Weapon Energy Capsules and Weapon Tanks. To restore Ally Abilities one will require Ally Tanks, as there will be no capsules to slowly regenerate consumed Ally Energy. Ally Abilities should be used in moments of dire need or to pursue hidden passages. But fret not, Ally Tanks are in abundance, and can be found frequently, just as long as Megaman has the proper weapons to gain access to them as the tanks will often be found behind barriers and such. Ones I\'m posting below are as follows:

Beat Serande - Beat hovers by Megaman\'s side and sings and enchanting tune which puts enemies to sleep. It can also be used to distract certain guards or charm NPC\'s.

Tango Armor - Transform armor allows Megaman to scale certain walls and fire a slash projectile.

Tango Marine - Transformation mode allows Megaman to permeate deep aquatic depths which are otherwise inpenetrable due to high pressure. Two modes of attack, mounted laser (not shown in picture below) and mines which are dropped from the yellow hatches located on the marine\'s underside. Mines serve as protection from enemies and can destroy spiked floors to reveal hidden passages.

Auto Missle - (Yes, the \"A\" Missle, \"A\" was for Auto, lol) Auto fires a devastating missles which can penetrate the thickest armor and shielding.

Auto Laser - Auto fires a widespread laser which can burn through the various reinforced metals and objects.

Eddie Revive - Eddie helps Megaman by giving him a Super Tank, Health and Weapon Energy are restored.


And finally, I\'ve been working on more weapons, lol. I posted earlier that Enemy Abilities are out until the sequel and have been replaced something better. That something better are the Buster Enhancements. These enhancements, 6 in all, come from parts collected from the Guardians. What are the Guardians you ask, I will tell you, lol. The Guardians are 6 powerful minibosses, sort of, which were built to protect the entrance to the Seeker chambers. So when one makes it to the Boss door, one must first conquer the Guardian before fighting the Seeker itself. The enhancements are not only unlimited in use, like the Laser or Arrow(lame, lol) from Megaman 8 put will alter the Buster\'s appearance dramatically, as you will all see in the 4 I have posted below. From left to right the ones shown below are as follows:

Hyper - Cannon
Mini - Laser
Vaccum Shield
Mine - Launcher

Lastly, the Nameless Seeker, is no longer so nameless. I received a few emails since I\'ve been away and I chose a name which will suit him well, Bio. So thanks to all of you for your suggestions.

So that\'s it everyone, here is a tiny morsel of what I\'ve been working on since Interordi has been away. Sure there\'s more, lots more, but that will have to wait until later. Enjoy and it\'s great to be back, I\'ve missed you all.

you should try game maker. its like any of the click programs combined with visual basic, but without the difficulty. its much more expandable. im still learning it, but its really easy and i like it more then tgf, which is almost the same as cnc

Well I\'ve gotten used to using CNC, I dont want the hassle of learning something else.

Besides, I know what Im doing with CNC.
Custom Movement, X,Y malnipulation, etc, etc.

Yeah, Ace is a wonder, when I first looked at the weapon mock ups, I was overwhelmed with joy, lol. I sent him 30 of the 60 weapons today so he can continue, hehe, more joy right now, lol.

School started this passed Tuesday, ugh. I\'m hoping to make this my last year of college before I graduate. No worries, development will not suffer as I still and always will devote many hours to spriting. I wanted to show you all something new right now but I just didn\'t know what. So I want you all to check out my avatar and let your imaginations run wild. That little shot of Dr. Light will eventually be from the game. Tell me what you all think.

Anyway, back to spriting, lol. I want you all to tell me what you think of my ideas and Ace\'s work on the weapons, Flanders made his opinion quite clear and I couldn\'t agree with him more! Later guys. :D

I\'ve seen that picture before. That is from MM7 on SNES, when Dr. Light repairs Bass and he destroys the lab, stealing Megaman\'s enhancements. Seems that this game is gonna look like MM7, but is gonna feel like a whole new game.

Keep up the programming, because I\'m gonna be the first in line to buy this game.

Right, I dont understand what your on about on the first paragraph, but the 2nd one, no you wont be first in line to buy the game.
The game will be freeware. (Selling fan games is illegal).

Anyway, Flanders was referring to my avatar Ace. And yes Flanders, the pic does resemble that scene you mentioned but I don\'t recall Dr. Light being badly bruised and covered in blood, lol. So I guess I should warn all of you, the game will be a bit on the violent side as I want it to bring the Megaman series to a much more realistic and mature level.

Okay, I\'m busy spriting away and I don\'t want to reveal anything new just yet. So this next pic is mainly for XIAYOU. He posted his idea for a Seeker named Hybrid and I want to show you all the basic sketch of him. I pictured him something of a computer hacker, hence the tubes on his right side which will allow him to hack into and control devices.
It\'s not much, just my earliest sketch as I do not want to start showing material from the sequel before the first game even has a playable demo out, lol. Enjoy guys and tell me what you think about eveything. With school and all, I need you to motivate me, lol.:D

Yeah, I mentioned earlier that I want the sequel to be 32- Bit. I might however, and this is a big, huge might, I might try to make very own sprites from scratch, including original Megaman sprites. I can\'t say for certain though but I will try. If all else fails I\'ll just fall back on the 32 - Bit sprites, lol.

I have a few ideas in mind for the sequel, XIAYOU, mainly on some of the Seeker properties and such. I have already thought of 4 Seekers. But if I need ideas, I know I can always turn to you and everyone else on the board.:D

Anyway guys, I was really bored today and I thought it was about time I worked on the title screen. It isn\'t much as I haven\'t added the subtitle \"Distant Shadows\", but I think it turned out really interesting and it really sets the mood for the entire game. In the background, with the city ablaze and chaos abound, Protoman leaps into certain danger as Megaman stands on a nearby ledge, witnessing his brother\'s courage. In the foreground are our two major players, Light and Wily. The veterans of an endless war, now badly bruised, the two may have finally, seen the end. The shot is a bit messy as I doubled it\'s size to give you all a chance to see it up close.:D

So tell me what you think. As for me, I\'m going to spend another 2 hours spriting some fresh stuff for tomorrow before I call it a day. Later guys!

If by new, do you mean the one you last sent me Nayus? If so then yes, that is the one I will be using. I actually want to fix it up a bit if you don\'t mind, fixing the colors and tweaking the outline, little things like that.

I\'ve never seen that avatar Hublo but it does sound cool. I wouldn\'t however have Megaman bleed or anything, him being a machine and all. Even though in X4 a blood - like discharge was shown when Double went on his massacre, it would most likely have represented oil or some other type of fuel. Now certain finishing moves in Distant Shadows, for example where Psycho impales Megaman through the chest with his chain spike and drags him in close before finally stabbing him through the face with his claw( a very graphic move, watching the finished version makes me cringe and wonder why I haven\'t been committed, lol) Megaman will not bleed but rather leak a black fluid and spray bits of mangled machine parts.

I wanted to show you guys something cool today, a new helper character I\'ve been working on. He\'s not done but suffice to say he looks very cool. His name is Tempo. I want to hold off until I get some of his attacks done, so I\'ll show him tomorrow. But I won\'t go and not show you anything, lol. So below are some of the final weapon sheets I sent Ace and an animation of Tango transforming into Marine mode. Is isn\'t a lot but I always want to show you guys something. The transforming turned out okay but it could use some improvement, what do you think? Anyway, there they are. If you guys are interested, I\'ll post the weapon descriptions if you want. As I said, these weapons do far more then destroying enemies. :D Enjoy guys.

which one did i send? My first two, i didnt really like, but they might work well as a stage boss or something. If you want a good seccondary enemie or something(bass to rockman 7) i reccomend my current avatar. Thats the one I really like.
