New Mini Announcement (9/2/03):
PMs are like email. Some users can see them somehow, some way (according to other members). Do not put personal things in them (such as full names, addresses, passwords, etc.). I\'m not trying to insult someone\'s intelligence or anything. I\'m just announcing it for those who forgot or don\'t know that things are not private in the internet world. \'Kay?

Let\'s clear out this issue already. Someone registered as \"Dr Cossack\" (notice the lack of a dot), and started PMing people asking for their passwords for security purpose. Actually, that was to gain access to several member profiles.

To everyone who did gave away their password: change it now. If you didn\'t gave away that information, or haven\'t got such a PM: neverming, you\'re fine.

As Breakman pointed out, no one from the staff will ask you for your password.
