Theres apparently two good ones out there, one being the Clickteam series, and the other being Game Maker.

I\'m not sure if Game Maker is free, but Clickteam products are not.

You need quite a bit of skill to create a GOOD Megaman fan game, be forewarned. It\'s not as easy as it looks.

Game Maker\'s free. ACE_Spark is fight, Megaman games ain\'t the easiest to make. I suggest read the help.

i use clickteam products and it is pretty easy to get used to and once your used to it your set to make anything!

except rpgs cause they take expert skill and lots of time...

How long can you keep the demos? If they\'re that easy I\'ll have to try it.

30 days I think, but there are patches out there that let you keep them longer...

It\'s still rather hard to make a good Megaman Game. But it is possible.

ya 30 days is the limit but u can change ur computers date back to when u downloaded it to use it for anotha 30

Ace is right, it is hard, hard work, especially if your intention is to push the envelope. The key is commitment.

Game Maker is the easiest FREE software to date. In fact, it is easy to make a Megaman game! I\'ve made an example, but his arm cannon sticks out the whole time...USE GM AND DONATE TO MARK OVERMARS!!!

Gamemaker is the best I\'ve seen so far, Fred is gonna drool over this fan game I\'m making.

When programming, don\'t expect large projects to be easy, draw some sketches and plan before you code, guys like me still hate flowcharts but we love psuedocode (english translation).
