Hello everyone, I\'m Gospel. Can anyone tell me how to get the V5 chips in MegaMan Battle Network 3!?

uh get all five stars then enter the code for hard mode in mmbn 2 and viola:P

First, you need to get the 5 Stars in the game. This is how you get the Stars:

Yellow Star: Defeat Alpha
Green Star: Defeat Bass GS
Light Blue Star: Beat Serenade\'s Time Trial
Blue Star: Obtain all 200 Standard Class Chips
Purple Star: Obtain all 85 Mega Class Chips
Orange Star: Complete your P.A. library by pulling off all 32
Program Advances

After you get the first five stars, the Omega (or SP) Navis will
appear on the Net after you enter a special code on the opening screen. After
obtaining five stars, highlight Continue at the title screen, hold left, and
input this code (using the should buttons): RRLRLRLL
The stars should move closer together. You can now find and fight the SP navis.



Red Star: Defeat all 15 Omega (SP) Navis -----

When you defeat these SP Navis you will receive their V5 Navi chips (these
chips are considered Giga Class Chips). Here are the locations of all SP Navis:

FlashMan Omega: Principal\'s PC 2
BeastMan Omega: Zoo Computer 3, where you found the DashRun NCP
BubbleMan Omega: Yoka Net 2, dead end (where you found an HPMemory)
DesertMan Omega: Top-right corner of the DNN Van
PlantMan Omega: dead end in Hospital Computer 3
FlamMan Omega: topleft torch in the area you fought his version one in
Undernet 3
DrillMan Omega: Undernet 5 where you fought his version one
GutsMan Omega: bottom-left part of Dex\'s homepage
MetalMan Omega: dead end in Tamako\'s homepage
BowlMan Omega: NetBattle Machine in the DNN studio
MistMan Omega: same place as BowlMan (must have white version
DarkMan Omega: top-left dead end (where you found Geddon3) in Secret Net 1
JapanMan Omega: Secret 2 (where you found the antinavi) found by invisable path
ProtoMan Omega: small square area in Hades Net
Serenade Omega: where you fought him the first time
Bass Omega: where you found SaitoBatch (Hubbatc NCB)


*****Note: There is NO Punk Omega or Punk version chip of anykind.You can only
take on Alpha Omega AFTER earning the last two stars (red and orange). He will
be in the same area you fought him in the first time.Defeating him in Blue
Version gets you AlphaArm Omega, White Version earns you AlphaArm Sigma.*****

In Secret Area 3, there should be a secret Walkway by the Bugfrag Trader under the set of Stairs that lead to Serenade. You have to fight some tough battles to get it first though. Good luck.

To Gospel: You need at least 170 Standard chips to open the door that leads to Yamatoman.

I think you also need 1 gigachip too but I\'m not sure.Oh, yeah trust me the omega navi\'s are HARD. Even Bubbleman is hard

I knew I couln\'t forget. He had 171 and still it didnt open. So I posted the question here. I told him to gt NaviRecycle, the easiest to get GigaClassChip and it worked. Now I found all the virus family data, but of the SP data I only found the Scuttlest. Can anyone help me?

where did you find it?
also do the programs have to tell you about the omega viruses first?

Yep.Once you give a particular Virus family 100 bugfrag Talk to the program and he\'ll provide you with a clue to the omega virus.

Where is the Dream Virus Family?

The Dream bit family is located in the southwest area of secret area 1 Just keep running around there and you\'ll eventually find them.I recomend that you don\'t use a style here, if you do you\'ll probably get killed in a couple of hits.
After you found the them, go to Secret area 3, find all of the virus family\'s(Omega\'s aren\'t requried)And open the door.Install Press and continue North.
If you go to the Right the Bugfrag trader and Sanctuary and Hubbatch, are there.
If you go north keep going until you reach the dead end you\'ll fight a Scuttlest and and the Green Scuttle(I forgot its name)
After that, Once you give them 100 Bugfrag go to the secret Jack-in port in Wilys castle, go north when you get off the boat keep pressing R.Once you get there walk around the edges of the place and you\'ll find Scuttle Omega.

No it\'s not past the block it\'s just in that Southwest area.

I am pretty sure that the chips only go up to v4 not v5

No there is v5 but they are giga class chips and they are hard to get

Then gamefaqs is wrong because it only goes up to v4

I gave the scuttlest 100 BugFrags to power them. I didn\'t had idea of that until I found them for accident. And the green and withe don\'t need the hubbatc to be found. I didn\'t even found the sanctuary chip.

Talking, were is Met? And Mushy and Killer Eye? Sorry I posted 2 times in a row, but this was a question I made. Thanks for the 100 BugFrags info, but is useless because I don\'t know...

Mushy is in Scilab2 behind the reception.

Killer eye is in the school computer 1 near the entrance to the school comp area 2, Mettaur family is in ACDC net 1 when you come out of Lan\'s hompage behind those laser doors, and the Mushy family is where Mettaur 34 999 said they where.
