Whats the big deal about mod\'s or hacks for pc games?

I mean you see quake and various other pc game mods and hacks for stuff (skins\' levels ect.) all of the place.

I just think it be cool if someone
did something like this for a megaman
game besides the nes games.

Plus I was just curious because at the
time I had just bought Megaman X5 for pc.:D

Anyway, you actually DON\'T see skins and cheats for Quake all over the place HERE. You only see requests for translations. If you do see something like that, it\'s because the poster of said \'something like that\' has either not read the rules, or doesn\'t understand them. But don\'t worry, I\'m sure you\'re not the first to ask a question like that. Personally, I too find Cheating unethical...
