I\'m getting three swords! Each one has a dragon shaped hilt. It\'s costing me $190 for the swords and a stand, but it\'s worth it! I\'m getting the last one the store has! It\'s not online, it\'s in a mall.

tanto wakizashi and a katana.I\'m going to buy some for 80 bucks.

Um, right. I would think that a broad sword weighs more than 15 pounds and is longer than two feet, there, buddy. but I\'ll ask my friend tommorrow, he\'s a huge millitary and weapons buff.

As for swords, I would get the short, dagger-like sword the samurai used for hari-kari. (Just incase I brought dishoner to my family.)

Seriously, though. I\'d be more than happy to own swords, but my mother would pitch a fit. She doesn\'t want me to chase after my brother with a sword when I get pissed off.

Swords can be used to exact revenge in many ways. For instance, if a sibling starts taking your CDs, take a sword, stick it through they\'re stereo, and tell your parents a music hating person did it (do this at night). I haven\'t done that though. *Looks around nervously*

Or, if you wanted revenge, you could just kill them. But i suppose that would be MUCH to complicated...

Revenge can be compicated with swords.

But any ways, anyone actually have a sword who hasen\'t mentioned it?

Actually,i have a sword.24 and a half inches long.Blue handle,wave frost blade.Ohhhh weee,what a beauty.Crazy sharp too.I have a sharpining stone(thank you dad).

My wooden ones are samuri imitations. Two are about 2 1\\2 feet while the other is about 1 foot.

Those are the good ones.I want to get a white oak one.

I am probably getting a sword for christmas. I already have a wooden Boken (My mom hates the freakin thing). I want a katana. There is this store near where I live called dragons cove. It has all kinds of swords (functional and decorative). Not to mention all of the other cool crap they have there. That is where my mom will get it for me (I\'m too young, stupid laws). I will have many swords when I have money and age.

So,does anyone else here like swords?

But, anyways, it\'s hard to name any specifics. I\'d say the Arabian-style scimitar! Matches really cool and mysterious characters with capes and turbans perfectly!:D

The sword you use really should depend on your teqnique and body type. No one would like a giant with a ninja-dagger or a frail old man with a giant double-handed broadsword.:lol:

I know where i stand with it.

I am medium sized and agile.

so i would take a katana and wakizashi(japanese)over any sword.

Give us some specifics and details about swords you like people,i need know if there are any other enthusiasts

Er... I could never use one, but I kind of like the thin rapiers people fence with...
and I like drawing broadswords...

Rapiers are elegant.One more type of sword i would like to own and would be able to weild.

I like swords, but I wouldn\'t say I could be considered an extreme sword-enthusiest. I don\'t know proper sword-wielding teqniques, and I will probably never use one, but still, they\'re so cool!:D

The scimitar...hmmm....why do I like it? I think it\'s because all of the sweeping motions one makes when displaying advanced teqniques with a scimitar look so ceremonial. Plus, I like to draw turbans, and turbans match well with scimitars.:D

Katanas for me, Ronin Warriors sorta clinched it.

At one point that was a reality.Too bad it was an age past long before us.

I LOVE samurai swords!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D They are so cool! If you let me use a double edged sword and a Samurai sword at the same time, I\'d dump the double edged.
