I like swords,i think they are cool.Anyone else who thinks so,post here.Also tell what kind you like.Myself,i like the anglo saxon ones and samurai.The types of samurai swords i like are the shirasaya,that is a sword without a handguard(the little round gold thing that keeps the handle away from the blade so you dont cut your hand off),and the normal handgaurded ones.

Swords are fine..I like gunblades. But for real swords..I would just want one that did its job. Not one that looks pretty.. I like old, reliable swords. Ones that are certain to chop someone\'s head off if need be.

i like the \"quick & swift\" weapons like the kitana (i think thats how you spell it) and if all else fails, i go for daggers or throwing stars:D

Swords are cool! Someone I know (who goes to my school) has a lic. to carry and own a Samurai sword! How cool would that be! To own your very own Samurai sword! The film: \'Highlander\' got me interested. I swear I will hold a sword at least once and who knows!? I might just get to decapitate an entire village with one just to try it out!

Yes, swords are cool indeed. I want a katana, even though it\'s a lot longer than myself. A friend is also willing to sell his samurai sword to me but I don\'t think my mum would aprove of it.

I\'ve taken some rather general sword training, and It\'s pretty sweet...I can\'t have one though...they don\'t just hand them out on the street...well, not since last tuesday...

I like samurai swords alot. they\'re cool, they\'re not heavy, and it makes you look cool when you use it.

You can have wooden ones legally,again,go to the site i said in my last post.

Actually i saw a real Gunblade before at Busch Gardens. It has like part of the gun fused with it so that the part that fires is seperated from the blade.It was cool.

But for me i love broad swords the bigger the better. I would love to handle the sword that Sanosuke uses(you know the real huge one) on Ruroni Kenshin.
I think broad swords are cooler and better then wimpy fast swords like the Katana.

Why,speed always takes advantage over the slow and powerful.

You have a point but the reason for huge swords is to keep the enemy at a distance.

It would be hard to bring the sword around,so it wouild take long to swing so the person with a katana could run in and slice you.

Yeah thats true but some quick swords are mostly weak.

Fast Swords:
Pros:
Person can move fast.
Sword can slice fast.
Easy to handle and master.
Cons:
Most are fairly weak.
Person has to be top condition to move fast with it.
Can break easily.

Huge swords:
Pros:
Insanely Powerful.
Can keep people at a distance.
Once mastered it can be powerful.
Hard to break.
Cons:
Slow to wield.
Hard to master.
Person must be strong to weild it.

To me i think there pretty much equal when it comes down to it.

That sounds about right.I mean I would take a katana rather than a huge sword.

Ok,they do have broad swords there,you have to go to tai-chi link on the leftt side of the screen,and look for weapons or broadswords or something,and you should find some.
