I have a technique that will work for most bosses. Have a Cannon battlechip, HiCannon battlechip, and M-Cannon battle chip, preferably maxed out. Use up all your other chips before a fight, then activate Z-Cannon PA. Use it on the boss, which will give you a lot of power and also invincibility. When it runs out, use your custom bar. Since you used up the other chips, the cannons will be there again.
