Well,today I found two Megaman games that I found interesting.Megaman X5 and Mega man 8.After long debate,I chose Mega Man 8.Did I make the right choice?Tell me why if you reply.((Hey!Ryhme!))Heh heh,sorry.

I personally think that Megaman 8 is a far more supirior and challenging game (i haven\'t beat it yet!!!)
Megaman X5 on the other hand is pretty easy..... (and i beat it) plus the names of the mavericks are sooo crappy.

I agree with Bryan. Megaman 8 is the better game. Hunting down bolts, defeating the wacky bosses with their funny voices, I just love that game.

I\'ve only played X5 so I can\'t really say. Though, I think X5 was a pretty good game.

I would\'ve gone for X5, but since I\'ve never played either, my opinion is worthless here.

I just played 8 last night...it\'s like Fate told me to come here. It\'s all right...but X5 is cool because you can duck...but you cna\'t get as many parts...so I\'m leaning more to 8.

Its hard for me to find any Megaman game period, so I buy them when I find them.

I thought X5 was pritty good myself, good graphics, great music, almost balanced gameplay. (I say ALMOST because of the pain that Squid Adler\'s level is.)

I happen to disagree with that. I think its good that Capcom went away from usual naming methods, it gives the Mavericks much more personality, I mean, honestly, what would you rather be called throughout your life?
Something cool like \"The Skiver\", or the uninspiring \"Neon Tiger\".
It shows a bit more thought was put into naming these bosses, it shows they had a life.

Ok enough ranting.

Dude, get X5 when you can, because its a damn good game.

Okay.The reson I did Is um..how can I say...they stock \"out of data games\".They had sold MM 8 for a long time and just stocked X 5.So,I was afraid I\'d never get a chance tp buy it AND I\'ll have more time to buy X5 this way.

funny story: I was renting X5, and beat it.

Next day, my parents bought it for me as a \'gift\'....

I was GREAT with that game. 8 was all right...I did like the anime sequences.

yup, mm8 is great, but reaaaaallly hard!

but X5 has a much darker storyline.

I have both versions of x5 and i like it a bit better than 8. 8 didnt really offer much innovation to the series while x5 seemed a bit supperior. I still like x6 better than all of them though. besides, the voice actors in 8 sucked. dr light sounded related to ben stein.

I bought both games and liked them even. I think you should try them out, they are both really great games.

if i finnished 8, i would like it more. Its just really hard.maybe if they would leave the original audio in....

Now... If only X5 had Anime Cut-Scenes rather than a single-frame image that would be cool. Yes MM8 is really hard. Especially the 1st Wily Stage.

that stage is what made me quit on 8. i got through it once but you cant save and continue after it. plus i hated the voice acting more than evangelion and every gundam series voice actors combined.

I liked the old series better and the game was probably cheaper, but I would still say you should have gone with X. Just because that series is still being continued.

Personally, I think you made a good choice. I can respect people that go for the OG. Anyhow, I CAN suggest you get X5 later though, cause it wasn\'t half bad.

I got a game genie when i was five so it warped my gaming skills. Over the years ive gotten better, but my real test is when gamestop finally fixes my order and sends me X7. I havent bought a ps2 gameshark yet.:) I finnished Chrono Cross the other day after playing only a week, but then again, ive played rpgs much better than action games. When I was 12, i think, i got CC and it was really hard. Then a week ago, a month after i finnished Radical Dreamers, i picked up CC and thought, \"Crap, this is easy!\" Still gotta do the New Game + stuff, but after the longest time, im really getting back into games again. I might try to get through 8 again soon, but its hard! I was doing fine playing pc games for years without codes, but then i discovered memory editors and..... I still like X5 better than 8, even though they changed all of the original stuff.

That was a bit of abstract topic. As for me, I\'ve always played All games with equal skill...even sports games. But Capcom has always made the gameas that peaked my gaming skillz.

I rock at all things Capcom....except RE....I don\'t have any...cuz my parents feel it\'s Too violent (Is there even such a thing?)

Anyway...What you buy, is what you buy.

I believe he made the right choice. Honestly, Megaman 8 was my favorite of the Megaman games released on the PSX.

Im a collector. I have games ive never played. a lot of my games i buy as collectables. I have a huge collection
i started collecting games very young, so my collection is pretty large now.

My dad has a friend who does that.
