I had no idea that Neanderthals looked like chimps and primates! I saw a video today, and man was it ugly! First they are some kind of ape, then half-ape! It was a freaky movie! I never knew about evolution this much... It\'s intriguing.

As a christian, I doubt that it happened that way.

but maybe it did.

I don\'t belive we evolved from fish, cause well, if we did why would we want to leave the water? Why would we go on to land?

Thats simple we needed something that was obtainable on Land wether it be food or something else , so we adapted from Water to Land . :D

I\'m also a Christian, and I don\'t think we evolved from those things.

Christianity isn\'t supposed to be a religion, but a realationship with God.

Science isn\'t very accurate for some things. It\'s better than greek myths, but I refuse to believe my ancestors were germ like creatures.

One thing: Push-Pull policy...

Push from the ocean: Lack of space
Lack of food
Predators

Pull to land: Availability of space
Lot\'s of food
No other species to eat you.

No offense fellas, but religion usually spawns flames so..tone it down, I guess.

As for me, since they haven\'t found a missing link yet, they haven\'t convinced me of evolving from neanderthals.. I evolved from dinosaurs. I don\'t like monkeys, is all.

Evolution still hasn\'t supposedly been proven yet (I thought it was in australia) so..until things are proven I don\'t believe them. Oh well.

I wasn\'t trying to claim superiority or anything. I was just stating my opnion on the whole matter. If my religion causes people to flame me, than that\'s their problem and they should see a physciatrist.

Well, I just had previous experiences with religous matters at a few boards. One person is solid in his beliefs for this, the other for that, and it gets into a heated discussion, then all out flames.

But, it was because there was unfairness, and the religion board was disallowing any faiths but Christianity to post there. So it got pretty bad. And when I mod there now I refuse to let anyone talk about any religion (all or none, otherwise it\'s unfair) so..I\'m just wary of religion talks on boards. I\'m sure you understand. :D

Don\'t worry, I won\'t flame anyone for their beliefs, but still, any shots at my religion and the person guilty feels pain...lots of pain*

A person\'s beliefs are their own. It is not my place to criticize them for what they believe. While I believe my religion to be true, I can prove no more than Anyone can prove theirs. (and yes, Atheism(sp?) is technicilly a religion, as you believe in that there\'s nothing to believe in, or something like that.)

Amazing how at another board I used to be one of the worst Spammers. Though not as bad as hello.

If we were fish how would we be able to see that item on land? Cause fish jusrt can\'t pop their head out of water and look around, know what I\'m sayin?

I myself do not believe in divine intervention, let alone creation. I believe God only exists in people\'s minds as an imaginary friend, if you like, to lean on in times of trouble. Sometimes I envy others for their conviction.

But what was it that caused the first living organism to be created? How did the single celled creature come to be? And even after that, if it was some sort of freak of \"nature\", seeing as nothing lived before that songle cell, what was it that made life become sentient, spawning megaman fans like us? What gave us our values?

It could not possibly be a god because they would have made their prescence known earlier to maintain order from the start, and the neanderthals, although obviously sentient, did not run around with stars of david. David hadn\'t been born of course. And after that, if it was one of the gods of old, why did they not continue their rule?

This whole creation idea is very deep and debatable, but even if we knew it would not do us much good. Although history repeats itself, we should not look that far back to determine our future.

Hmph, they're in lala land now. Made me break a sweat too.

Well, maybe the fish kept getting into shallower water, and after generations, they started to change their flippers to feet and got lungs. (i.e. a frog-like species)

I think there is no science or religion big enough to explain how we got here. Devine Intervention seems kind of out of sorts, as does science. They both have no finite answer, and thus are both of them unreliable.

I think we got here because...well, maybe because we CHOSE to be here. maybe this is really a test or a dream and we\'re just waiting for it to end as we go on (Death is waking up, essentially). Maybe the universe and world as we know it is only our figmentation of our own respective imaginations put into one. Mixed into a big bowl of sorts, no? The chaos and destruction is so we can feel as if it is real, possibly. Maybe. Or maybe it\'s just all the crazy people\'s imaginations, I don\'t know. ^^

Anyway, anyone can come up with thier own reason for their own existance, and the best thing is, it doesn\'t even have to make sense. In some place, in some way, it just might make sense.

And I\'ll be waiting.

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

My philosophy on evo. is:

What happened...happened.
The present is now.
Don\'t worry about what happened some 100 million years ago.
Worry only about what you\'re gonna wear to work tomorrow.

LOL...no, what I mean is:
Let\'s not worry about how we got here.
Let us only worry about what we\'re gonna do here.

Are you not? What? You don't understand me?

Well, ?ƒ?†¥?§©ç??§´ƒß? to you too!

We\'re all Tonberries. :D

I believe in Evolution. As for you guys, the evidence is probably gone because earth recycles rocks. XP

But anyway! I believe evolution because:
Spammers, lamers, and stupid people never caught up. :D

How could you NOT see that apes/monkeys and humans are related? Sure, there\'s differences, but the similiarities are pretty close enuff. :P

...I like walking fishies. Especially those with knives, heehehe.

*cuddles her Tonberry plushie, named Darwin for a good reason. O_O*

Oh, by the way, I\'m not a religious person. Science has more proof than religion does. ._. The only Religious proof I can think of is Noah and the ark. They discovered that a part of the world /was/ flooded and there were a lot of stories in that area which was very similiar to Noah and the ark. Don\'t know if there\'s any others.

I try to be open-minded, but closed-minded people often makes me want to go insane. :D

I saw the ending to that movie and it seems that we did somehow evolve from them. How? I have no clue. The movie just kept showing them change. It was a rather disgusting movie. I really hated the parts where they ate raw meat.
