Well not only does my computer scan for Viruses every 30 mins buy my Internet program blocks almost all viruses so see It pretty much Impossible I will get a viruses .:rolleyes:

Kazaa lite is safer, IMO. Kazaa doesn\'t have viruses, but ANNOYING spyware crap.

But yes, some people may have viruses hidden in .exe files that they upload. It\'s safer to download music (GO AWAY RIAA.) and video clips.

Personally, I\'m all for RIAA getting their asses kicked in a manner that they look like bullies that they are.

Kazaa is the debil.

Yeah, it\'s a great way to fileshare, great way to rip off companies ( ), but too many risks, too many virii, too many mislabeled porn videos. And I know this from friends wanting to download Matrix Reloaded, they kept getting porno instead..

Thankfully, I have never gotten mislabeled porno off of Kazaa. Although, I did download Empire Earth one time when I was looking for Age of Mythology and after having to reformat my hard drive for a completely different reason have only since downloaded files that don\'t work...


Seriously, don\'t use Kazaa, Kazaa Lite, WinMX, or any p2p program unless you know what you are getting into.

No really, its not a harmless as some people will tell you. You have to know what your getting into. I didn\'t and I\'m OK, but I still wouldn\'t suggest it.

I used to use it, but it kept deciding to turn off my computer\'s conenction. So, I took it, put it on a disk, deleted it off the compy and played target practice with the disk. >.>;

It\'s a pain in the ass. I scanned every file that I downloaded, too, and it STILL gave me angst. Oh well, score one for the Phat, and zero for Kazaa and the disk manufacturers, I guess. ;D[/font]

Unfortunately, I have to use it once in a while to catch up on X-Men Evolution episodes.
No site has them on bittorrent, so, arg.

...and downloading them wasn\'t even useful. Couldn\'t hear audio (because I\'m deaf) but I could only watch the animation. XD

I don\'t use it too often...only if I can\'t find it on the net. Oh, and Kazza lite DOES give you viruses, I\'ve gotten some, but they were all stopped (thanks to my combo of NAV and ZoneAlarm)
I definitely don\'t use it for music, some of the files can say they\'re full length, but they usually end up being 30 seconds or so and the rest is wasted space.

Well my Dads friend he works for the Military A Computer Wiz . Along time ago he basically took our Computer apart and put TONS of Memory in it so songs download in second . Well movies I havent downloaded a movie ever . Too bad I dont have Kazaa any more .:cry::cry:
