Yeah, I\'ve been using RPG Maker 2000 for a while now, so I decided to make my own Megaman game. It will play like the original series did. There are going to be 8 original robot masters made by me. I\'ll try to find some screens for you.

But seriously, that looks awesome. Just like the original.

Yeah, it looks good, but the gameplay is giving me trouble. Jumping isn\'t that easy a command to make. But besides that, it\'s pretty good.

How about making Jump = Spacebar?

No, I must have not explained it clearly. I have the jumping command, but Megaman can only jump straight up. I don\'t really know how to make it so he can jump left and right.

Yeah, I realize that just two screens and info isn\'t enough for you to judge my game. I\'m only giving a little info because I tend to keep my projects secret. And like I mentioned earlier, A Megaman game in RM2k is pretty damn hard to make.

I think they\'re making an RPGMaker 2 for the PS2. It should be out in a month or 2. It might aready be out. I\'m a little fuzzy on the release date.

wheres a good site to download the full english version of the rpg maker engines? I heard they were petitioning to have 2k3 commercially released, but then someone else translated it. I am also curious as to how to hack the scripts. I never saw anything like that back when i first discovered the rpg maker series.

Nayus Dante: Technically, they\'re illegal if you don\'t buy the original Japanese version, so I don\'t think Doc would allow a link to a download of it.

Megaman X.exe: I\'m hoping to have a demo ready by the 25th, if I don\'t get grounded from my report card... ;(-_-)

Yet another misconception about copyrights. The software has no US copyright, and therefore no laws are enforced upon it here. This is similar to the RIAA\'s inabillity to sue those downloading illegal files with US copyrights that live in other countries. This is why Japanese roms and fansubbed anime are completely legal.
