Axl is about as mysterious and powerful as X and Zero, and they both came from scientists from the past. In the original series, there were three great scientists. Dr. Light who made X, Dr. Wily who made Zero, and Dr. Cossack (Not to be confused with our Admin). Is it possible that Cossack created Axl?

Dr. Cain? He was the scientist who discovered X. He wasn\'t in the time period of Light, Wily, and Cossack. He was responsible for reploids.

1. He\'s all but disappeared from the series anyway.
2. He wasn\'t great in robotics. He was good enough to copy X\'s systems, but Axl seems kind of above that standard.

Maybe he\'s like the Cossack from BnG, Master programmer when tanked. :P. Not this Doc, but the one from Bob and George.

No, actually, Red found Axl, he didn\'t modify him, and Axl said he had his abilities since he was found. Sigma didn\'t appear until sometime after Axl was found.

I think Sigma knows more about Axl than anyone else. He knew that Axl could be used to gather DNA data, something that Red apparently was unaware of. Also Sigma intended to use Axl to obtain X\'s DNA for himself.

No, Red knew about it. If you remember, Axl said that Red Alert was using the DNA data he got to power themselves up.

Only after Sigma told Red how to. That is how Sigma became involved with the Red Alert to begin with. He showed them how to use DNA data that Axl collected to make themselves stronger.

Although it\'s plausible that Sigma showed him how to utilize the Data, It cannot be proven that Red was not previously aware of this skill having observed Axl\'s use of it.

I didn\'t mean to imply that Red was unaware of Axl\'s ability to copy the forms of other reploids.

I only meant that he didn\'t know that Axl could retain the data after using a transformation or that the data could be taken from Axl and used to enhance the powers of the other Red Alert members. That is what Sigma showed Red.

I just think that Sigma knows more about Axl than what he\'s let on. Somehow I doubt it will turn out that Dr. Cossack built Axl.

From what I figure, Axl might contain a dormant form of the Sigma virus, so later he may turn evil. I think that Sigma tried to infect him, but Axl resisted. Although part of the virus remained.

Another virus thing? Do you know how redundant that would be!? Not even Capcom would be stupid enough to make another virus thing in the story!
