The shield is both for defense and for attack. It\'s kind of like ElecSword and Reflect all in one thing.

look at my custom animated sprite, i made it when i was like 10. but with all this school work and stuff i have now, i completely forgot how to do it. tell me what you think of it. :miam:

I don\'t think he actually has to lift his sheild. It just appears there, like ProtoMan.EXE\'s.
Maybe what WindRider means is there should be some frames of him getting into the sheild holding position.
