I see.... But I not sure about the 20XX thing. I think this is how it goes:

Mega Man 1
Mega Man 2
Mega Man I
Mega Man 3
Mega Man II
Mega Man 4
Mega Man III
Mega Man 5
Mega Man IV
Mega Man 6
Mega Man V
Mega Man 7
Megaman 8
Power Fighters
Megaman & Bass
Power Fighters 2

However, there are at least two places, if not more, where this can\'t be the case for the simple fact that Wily is in them all.
No games can occur between Mega Man 3 and Mega Man 4 for NES because during this time Dr. Wily was \"dead\" and out of the picture.
It is doubtful that Wily did anything between Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3 since he was apparently in captivity for most of this time, and he was working with Dr. Light for the rest of it. The first game where he clearly escapes (and therefore is out and about to cause trouble) is Mega Man 4.
No games can occur between Mega Man 6 and Mega Man 7 since Wily was definitely in prison then.
We can see, then, that the timeline would go something more along the lines of this:

Mega Man 1
Mega Man 2
Mega Man 3
Mega Man 4
Mega Man I
Mega Man II
Mega Man III
Mega Man 5
Mega Man IV
Mega Man V
Mega Man 6
Mega Man 7
Megaman 8
Power Fighters
Megaman & Bass
Power Fighters 2

As you can see, that rather bunches them up together, but there\'s really nothing saying this couldn\'t be the case. There\'s also no indication as to what order the Game Boy games occured in (except that Mega Man V was definitely last); however, I don\'t see any reason they couldn\'t have taken place in numerical order. The above placement still isn\'t final since the Game Boy games could have taken place later (but not earlier) than they are placed. It is, however, a start.

The only remaining problem is placing the Books into all this. I have not settled on a final order, which is why the Game Boy games are not listed on the booklist. However, it would probably be something along the lines of:

Mega Man 1
Mega Man 2
Mega Man 3
Mini-Book 0
Mega Man 4
Book 1
Book 2
Mega Man I
Mega Man II
Book 3
Book 4
Mega Man 5
Book 5
Book 6
Book 7
Book 8
Book 9
Book 10
Mini-Book 1
Mega Man III
Mega Man IV
Book 11
Mega Man V
Mega Magic
Book 12
Mini-Book 2
Mini-Book 3
Lands of Confusion
Mini-Book 4
Book 13
Book 13 1/2
Mega Man 6
Book 14
Book 15
Mega Man 7
Power Battle
Book 16
Of Flesh And Steel
Book 17
Book 18
Mega Man 8
Power Fighters
Day To Live
Mega Man & Bass
Power Fighters 2

This might not be all, but it\'s all I know.

P.S.: Does anyone know how old I am?

So cofusing. What\'s the difference between Megaman I and Megaman 1?

Also, Sonicboom, you mean that Capcom has been carrying a timeline this whole time? That would be cool. If so, maybe we can have more Megaman characters in the next Capcom vs SNK game.:D

Well, I\'m not saying all of these are connected, it\'s just an assumption.

Zera, you just copied that from the Mega Man Homepage... You should quote your sources, at least. Also, keep in note that those \"books\" are simply fanfiction, and nothing official.

Well, I never said it was mine :P  .

Well, yeah... Anyways, the difference between Megaman 1 and Megaman I is that Megaman 1 is for NES and Megaman I is for Game Boy. There is a difference. Same with the others.

I\'m just assuming all of Capcom\'s franchises could be part of the same timeline, like Marvel comics\' franchises are. I\'m not saying this assumption is true.

That\'s kinda confusing... they put a plotline in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 where (I think) you team up comic book heroes and Marvel game characters to try to stop Abyss and gain a \"Treasure Orb\", with Ruby Heart (again, I THINK) as the main character.
But then, how did everyone get there if Capcom follows a universal timeline? :conf:

Yesh. MMI has CutMan, ElecMan, Fireman, IceMan, BubbleMan, QuickMan, Heatman and FlashMan.

MMII has AirMan, CrashMan, WoodMan, Metalman, TopMan, Needleman, MagnetMan, Hardman.

MMIII has ShadowMan, Snakeman, SparkMan, GeminiMan, Dustman, DiveMan, SkullMan, DrillMan.

MMIV has Brightman, PharoMan, RingMan, ToadMan, and four from MM5, but I can\'t remember which ones.

MMV has Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, Sunstar, Terra, Uranus, Venus.

I heard a rumor that Punk was one of the few people to ever kill Megaman. Was that true?:conf:

You speak as if others managed to kill Mega Man... Who would that be?

Hmm. I don\'t know. I just seem to remember checking a Megaman site once that had a list of character in the Megaman series. One category was \"Characters Who\'ve Defeated Megaman\".

Maybe it just means they beat him, rather than destroying him.:conf:

I\'m pretty sure it meant defeating Megaman, not destroying Megaman as you stated.
