i personally use black(swamp) cards and my stratage is to use mant different types of destroy creature spells

Blue cards are pretty good, but whats so good about Black cards?

Ok what about multi-colored decks.
Anyway I am the person to ask about anything MTG (Magic: the Gatering).
Any way the colors from best to worst are:
Blue
Black
White
Green
Red

I prefer using black decks cause I like the powerful Zombies. The thing I hate though is that they are making bad blue cards because it is so powerful.

I never played Magic before, so I don\'t use a color. Which color is the best?

Depends on your strategy.
Red is aggressive.
White is defensive.
Green is mass attack of little things.
Black is destruction with spells.
Blue is countering.

There are exceptions to these and some may be wrong. This is just how it seems to me.

My Blue and Black deck, or as I call it, \"Skullf**k\", Is the best one to date. It taps your creatures with Puppet Strings after beefing them- and Meekstone makes sure they don\'t untap.

Then there\'s the Sliver Deck I have in the works. It might take awhile, but its beginning to look friggen sweet.[/font]

well if i could build a decent blue deck from all my cards it would probably be pretty good but i ALWAYS pick undead and that stuff if its an option:devil:

Have you tried playing yu-gi-oh

they are far more popular than magic the gathering

I use to play yugiho, I got bored with it after a while.

My brothers had Magic the Gathering cards and gave them to me. I didn\'t like them, so I threw most of them away without knowing they were collectable.:mad:

that cleared my chest .. and i always use black card becuase the have quite good irritating speels..

for me, it was always:

Red: Kamikaze attack (I whoop yo @$$ before you get up)

White: Stall (Hold that thought, while I play many cards to delay my defeat...)

Blue: Don\'t move. (\"No.\") No, seriously, all blue says is: (\"No.\")

Green: Big attacks with big creatures (\"I have all the guns...\")

Black: does a bunch of screwy spells and what not to stop you from drawing, or playing... (\"I\'m sorry, what cards?\")


At least...that\'s how I learned it.

I personally use Black, because it has interesting ways to win...(card destruction)...

Furthermore, I also enjoy Yugioh...to a certain point...then I get bored.

I use the ultimate, if a little cheap Sliver deck. I\'ve got the Sliver Queen and Sliver Overlord, na, na, nanananana:devil::P

Lets see This is the real way the colors are (though Keiyoushi_Naota was close).
Red: Kamakazi is pretty close. Red will sacrifice its late game to power up now.
White: This is the weenie color (lots of small creatures). Very powerful
Green: THE BIG GUNS. They have the biggest and best creatures
Black: Creature destruction and losing of life (both sides).
Blue: is the \"may I?\" color. You almost have to ask \"may I?\" to play every spell againts a blue deck. Also blue has card drawing. The most important part of the game.

I think he means Artifact creatures. My best deck is a black & green kick @$$ deck.

first of all yu-gi-oh is NOT more popular than magic and second the gameplay for magic is MUCH better than yu-gi-oh and third yu-gi oh is not complicated enough for me:zzz:

I like Yu-Gi-Oh cards. They\'re great illustrations. I just wish everyone would stop getting them before me!!!!:mad:

you have a bit of a good point there BUT! have you ever seen the illustrations for MTG? they are much better:D

Sliversare famous for helping other slivers some abilities are:
All Slivers get +1/+1
All slivers have haste
All slivers have first strike
Whenever a sliver deals damage to an opponent you may draw a card.
Whenever a sliver deals damage to a creature destroy that creature
All slivers have flying.
Whenever a sliver deals combat damage to a player put a 1/1 green sliver creature token into play (and yes the tokens reek the benefits too)
Slivers can\'t be blocked except for by other slivers
Slivers have protection from the color of your choice.
Pretty much any other ability you can think of a sliver has it.

Slivers are good, but I\'ve gotten bored with them. Every one in my town who plays Magic has had a sliver deck, almost.

P.S. I have a Sliver Queen and THREE Sliver Overlords! One of the Overlords is holographic or foil or whatever!

My decks:
Swampwalk (black)
- I essentially use Evil Presence and Tainted Wells to turn at least one of my opponents lands to a swamp and attack with swampwalk creatures. If there\'s a creature without swampwalk in my deck, it\'s used to defend.

Fast and Furious (red and green)
- It has 4 giant growths, 4 blood lusts, and many creatures will small casting costs and cards that help bypass defences.

Blue crap (blue)
- The whole deck stalls until I pull out a Chamber of Manipulation. In conjunction with a Skull Catapult, it turns the opposing army against itself.

Strength (green)
- Diligent Farmhands, Werebears, Spined Wurms, Muscle Bursts, Fogs. That\'s essentially it. There\'s some cards that give 4/4 beast and 6/6 wurm tokens. No real strategy involved, just some strongarm tactics.

I don\'t play much but my friends like to borrow my decks because magic is still big in their community.

Ok, I suppose I must define my deck:

Drain Life
Utilizes many cards such as Consume Spirit, Corrupt, Drain Life, Mutilate, and Cabal Coffers.

This deck is all about the behind the scenes kind of thing. Screw monsters, it\'ll just pound you over and over and over and over and over and ....what was I saying?



Artifact 1: Black+Green

Utitlizes The Nim Shrieker Slasher family, along with very nice equip cards, along with some nice green enchantments. It\'s more black than anything, and it\'s mostly colorless for most of its abilities.

Artifact 2: White+Red

I made this earlier coincidentally. (Today). Utilizes token cards such as mobilization (thinking about nuisance engines...thinking), and uses isochron scepters coupled with holy days and awe strikes. Excellent at gaining life, as soon as tower of fortunes its over, hope to god that there isn\'t a words of worship in play, because it\'s 20 life per turn baby.


Annnnd...that\'s my current deck status.

Oh, by the way, I found out about the slivers shortly after I posted a question about it.
