Wasnt Rock seriously beat up fighting some robot, then Dr. Light fixed him while upgrading him to X in the process?

O.Kay... I didnt read through all the posts here... FLABETYGIBIT!

To put it simple...
1. Bass was made to be better than Rock.
2. Later, Zero was made to destroy Dr. Light.
3. At the same time, Light was finishing up X, who was to take over for rock.
4. Although zero managed to destroy Light and severly damage Rock, rock managed to activate X, who found the lab in shambles.
5. With his last moment of life Rock manges to explain X\'s life to him.
6. rock dies...
7. X is confused...
8. X and Zero relise they where both screwed so they desided that since they where the only people who understod each other, they should team up.

thats how i see it......

Well 1 and 2 are right. 3 could be. I\'m afraid that the rest is wrong.

Here\'s what really happened:

• X was found and activated by Dr. Cain roughly 100 years after the lab was trashed.
  
• Shortly after X was activated and reploids were being built some scientists stumbled onto Zero\'s capsule.
  
• Hoping for another discovery like X they activate Zero and are killed by him.
  
• Sigma defeats Zero because he freezes up and Sigma gets infected with the Zero virus which then mutates into the Sigma virus.
  
• Zero is brought back to Hunter HQ and repaired by Dr. Cain. As a result of the damage he took, Zero loses his memory. Zero becomes a maverick hunter.
  
• Sigma finally loses it and starts an uprising. Zero becomes the leader of the Hunters.
  
• X decides to do something about Sigma and is recruited by Zero.
  

The rest of the story is explained in the games. So I don\'t need to mention what happens in them.

Summary: X and Megaman are two different people. Zero is also a new robot and not a rebuilt Protoman or Bass. X never met his predecessors and his only contact with Dr. Light is through the Capsule holograms. Zero becomes a good guy after being beaten up by Sigma(the matter of whther or not Zero killed the original cast is still up for debate). Zero starts to regain his memeory later in the series but decides to not follow the path Wily wants him to.

I thought X was the leader of the Hunters. Or was that in X2 after Zero killed himself?
Or after X3 where Zero AGAIN kills himself(you CAN)?
Or after X5 where Zero AGAIN kills himself?

has anyone noticed the topic instead of just posting??!let me get this back up again...megaman is not as tall as X but it is suprising how he grew maybe light just wanted to make him taller so he upgraded him so he could jump higher.i have no proof so don\'t say this is the answer.

I agree with Kia (Way above) dudes shes completly right I mean when Zero is made Zero kills all of the original charecters (Well exept for 2) now the two r Auto and Treable ...Treble turns into the dog that sigma has in X1 because bass hid Treble so he could live Sigma Reprogramed it and gave it a new name.
