Hmm...well, that sounds kind of like another game by Hideo Kojima for the p s 2.... if you ask me...

Hmm....but a machine g u n out of the you know what scares me. I\'ve never seen astro boy (It\'s coming to the W B by the way...). Soo....I wouldn\'t really know.

Umm....I would be waiting for it ..but I don\'t have a cube.

It sounds interesting though.

I practically worship Hideo Kojima. He\'s like the father of stealth games. However, Keiyoushi_Naota, why do you think this new game sounds like another one of his games?

I know Treasure is going to do a great job. I still have fond memories of GunStar Heroes for the Sega Genesis. But it surely looks like the old SNES game just with soupped up graphics. Don\'t get me wrong, I kinda liked that game but it was only in Japanese and the sprites were... scary. (Scary, yes. Astro Boy was smiling all the time. Kill that robot, smile. Some people on an Astro Boy board I go to, totally did not like the SNES game. I don\'t think they will like this one too. They complained that fighting all the time was not Astro. I say, \"Hey, if they kidnapped my sister, stole, and tried to blow up the world, they deserve some pain.\". There\'s a time for diplomacy and a time for fighting. These two games are centering on the fighting part of Astro. *shrugs*

I really want the PS2 one. Way back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, they said Sega bought the rights to Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. Whether it was true or not, I don\'t know but they said it would be on the Saturn or something... Way ways, it was going to be a 3D game. Since nothing happened, everybody got bummed out. Astro in 3D sounded really cool, you know. Now that dream has come true... but for the PS2. ;^^

The GBA version looks fun (the one many think is looks like the SNES one). I wonder if they would have an Unico cameo appearance (in the screen shots, it had Black Jack in one!)? Or how about Rock (not Megaman, Rock is a character in Tezuka\'s works)?

Zuppahiko, could you tell me the story line to the PS2 or GBA games, please? I can\'t read Japanese. ;^^ Thank you!

I got my gaming magazine \"Tips and Tricks\" yesterday. I saw Astro Boy in the GBA list for 2004. I looked for the PS2 one and can\'t find it! Did they delayed it or canceled it? I don\'t remember hearing the PS2 would come out 2005... Maybe they would release it with the movie? Or maybe... *noticing I\'m rambling* ... ;^^

Well, I\'ve heard much of this game, and from what I\'ve seen and read, some gamers highly covet it, in all it\'s Astro glory, while others despise it for the \'childish and ridiculous game\' they see it as (Breakman\'s gonna be mad, being such a dedicated fan...). Mixed opinions, but I\'m not sure on how anticipated this game truely is, overall, to the general gamer population, and how much \'fan-fare\' it will receive upon release. My guess is that it\'s not very mainstream.

Even though my hopeful boasting, I really think this is going to be another cult favorite instead of a blockbuster.

You know, this sounds like Megaman... Not very popular games but a pretty stable fan base.

What do some of you like about the Astroboy games, in gameplay elements and such? What is it about them that make you want to play, that makes it unique? Why are they special, enjoyable games?

I always wants to try out Viewtiful Joe. I heard it was really good. It looks really good. But sadly, Movie Gallery never gets the best games in. They didn\'t get in Viewtiful Joe, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Party 5, or Prince of Persia!:eek:

Many a Saturday was spent watching the little man kick some robot butt at six A.M. That and Dragonball...But DB was in Spanish. Astro Boy...was not.

I still have a few episodes and comics lying around. I think I might just look for them....

The game looks kind of cool, I suppose. I wish I could get it....

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Far as I\'m concerned, thay\'re both cartoon stations that show some good cartoons and some crappy cartoons. Hopefully this new Astro Boy will be one of the good ones.

Astro boy to the GBA... Not bad. I look forward to watching the Anime and trying out the game too. :cool:
