It rocks! I mean, I\'ve been playing it for... wait, lemme check my save data... 95:12 hours and it still doesn\'t bore me! The story kinda shucks, but the gameplay is better than any tactical game I\'ve ever played! And the best part is the enemies level up with you, so that you can easily get to lvl 100, since you only need 100 exp. per level. ^_^ If you don\'t allready have it, buy it! If you don\'t have a GBA, buy one!
Spoken I have!

I\'d have to agree with you on your views; Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a very enjoyable game. Although not as deep or entertaining as the original, this is definately worth buying for your GBA. Square Enix did a good job. I\'m certain that if your a fan of tactical games such as Fire Emblem, you\'d enjoy FFTA. Even though some reviews have been rather harsh, I stand by my point. They simply must not realize, or appreciate, simply, what a wonderful game it is.

Me too. But over all, the game was good, fun, and enjoyable.

You get red cards for repeated offenses. Also, if you read the rules or use law cards (later into the game) you\'ll do just fine.
Still, it\'s easy to get careless on that \'Color Magic\' ban... :madgo:

My main character is a fighter, but I do have a Ninja with double sword with Masamune100 and Masamune equiped, so that he does about 548 damage per two hits:D. But, I forgot to mention that the MUSIC IS GREAT!! Not as good as in GS2 though, but it still is great.

I\'m kind of a perfectionist too, I can\'t stop playing untill I\'ve finished all 300 missions. But, I have 263 missions finished, so I don\'t have too much to go. And the multyplayer... well, the missions are WAY too simple. I mean, if your char\'s level is somewhere in the 40\'s, and you have to fight a gang of 5 lvl 2 redhats, where\'s the challenge? But whatever, you just go beat up your friend and then take care of those little annoying redhats. The VS mode is kinda funny though, since you can competete against your friend, who (well, I suppose) is somewhat more intelligent than the CPU.

I like the fighters on that game. My first human character, Stanz, is now a fighter, and he rocks with an Auyvier Blue.:D

I\'m a paladin though. I\'m trying to find any classes that require Paladin A abilities.

My white mage keeps getting sent to jail for using color magic or healing A abilities. I\'ve had to bail him out 3 times, and pay 4000+4000+2000+6000+4000+2000 gil on him so far! That\'s 22000 gil!

Erm... how did those damn spoilers work again...

Spoiler (click to toggle)
There are no jobs that require Pally A-Abilities.

I hope that worked, or else I will have to edit this post again

|EDIT|

The spoiler works, but I forgot to mention something else, too:

Spoiler (click to toggle)
You should get him excalibur, too. With that, he learns Holy Blade, wich is extremely powerfull, especcially when fighting undeads, such as Zombies or Vamps. If he has that ability learned, there are not much usefull abilities left. Nurse is next-to useless, since it\'s only a better version of First-Aid, and cover isn\'t really that good, however, if your pally has a good defense, you should consider getting that ability too. After you have Holy Blade, you should get Excakibur2, wich is obtained by a certain mission where you have to beat one high level enemy, but I forgot the name, and I\'m too lazy to look it up in my report again, so you\'ll have to find out yourself. When you have it, DON\'T SELL IT!! It\'s one of the most powerfull weapons, and it\'s even better than Masamune 100! Enough spoilers, I just remembered something else I have to post, too.

Tryed it. Sure its cool, but a better idea is to make him a Palidin and give him the Sequence, and Excaliber (2). NOW THATS POWER!

Sequence isn\'t that good, but Excalibur and it\'s other version Excalibur2 rock :D.

And I know

the max level is 50
, but most here don\'t, so would you mind turning it into a spoiler? Use the edit button, and then use this code: [ spoiler ] TEXT [ /spoiler ] (without the open spaces) to turn it into a spoler.

It isn\'t a big deal if you know you can only go to level 50. Any way that whole Excalibur2 and Sequence thing seems ok. I mea if you have the powered up sequence it helps with other stuff two. Also, I was just wondering if you guys had a team strategy? Mine is I get 6 Pally/Blue mages. Give them all the fortune ring, bone plate armor, angel ring, dash boots, and a master sword. Then I put all my enemies to sleep with night. The fortune ring nulls sleep. Then I use roullette until I can reach my enenies with magic hammer. The master sword nulls KO and Dealing MP magic doesnt wake up opponents. Then I use matra magic to kill them. Also the bone plate armor is important. If your guys are all on the same level and you use Lv?Sflare you wil heal all your teammates. Also I use the support Turbo MP so things like night put everyone to sleep on the first try.

Also, the paladins have an ability called Subdue, which deals extremely small damage. I\'ve figured out three uses for it...
Spoiler (click to toggle)
1. Snapping allies out of confusion.
2.Attacking when \"fight\" is forbidden. (and, like me, you don\'t know \"Holy Blade yet. :P)
3.Picking your nose.

Cover does have it\'s uses, such as protecting weaker units such as mages. Also, it is effective when used in conjunction with the Paladin class, as it has a high defense growth, making it an effective tank, thus, being safely able to use cover. Saint Cross can have it\'s moments, when being surrounded of course; What else is a Pally to do?
Holy Blade is by far where the Paladin shines; even in the earlier parts of the game, it does tremendous damage.
Do any of you use Red Mage/Summoner combos? I can\'t live without Double Cast summons!

What are some of your team strategies?

I\'m dying of rookie fever...
Er... Mostly what I do is torque up my sniper for speed, so she can go around poisoning people. No matter how much weapon or magic defense an opponent has, it does the trick, plus it never wears off! Then, I make her aim at the enemies\' legs. My Paladin and my main character get the job done after that, and my Bishop goes around using Break and Air Render from distances.
Ermm... they get killed a lot, so I use a white mage to cast Life and Cure to my party members... and that, children, is how to make a FF rookie sound like he knows something about strategy

On a regular basis, I wil have my Gunner snoop around, inflicting charm on every enemy in range. Meanwhile, my hunter parades about, disabling(sp?) all foes in range, or perhaps charm, if my moogle has yet to do this. My Summoner Double Casts her summons. At times, I will substitue her for my assassin, who does what an assassin does. :P
Finally, My main character, a paladin/ninja, wipes out any survivors, with Double Sword of course, as does my Templar, who simply spears all in range.

Ah yes, a confusing trifle to some. Forgive me, but what I mean is that he is currently a paladin, however, I have substitued his \'Item\' ability for \'Ninja Skill\'.

His ability \'menu\' looks like this:

A; Chivalry
A; Ninja Skill
R; Strikeback
S; Double Sword
C; Fight Combo

Gunner-Mog Knight.

You should start with a BlackMage to get up your MP then switch to Animist. Once you know at least one ability, swith to MogKnight and learn MogAid, and Ultima Charge.

Now go make that little Mog into a gunner, and all will fear him!

Bwahahahaha!

I\'ve got one Ninja/Theif with all A abillitys mastered. I\'m tring to steal as many abillitys as possibly so I don\'t have to learn them. Oh, and Subdue is extremly good for a hunter because it weakens monters so you can use Capture on them.

All neat combo\'s, and I love gunners with ultima attacks ^_^, but....

M0RPH0RZ 0WNZ Y0R @$$$!1!!! PH33R H1M!1!!1!1!

Just try. Get a Morpher, get a hunter, catch all three flan types, let your Morpher learn those abilities, and here comes the expensive part.... keep buying 99 curealls (available after some shop uppergrade) and keep feeding them to your Flans. Just drive their stats up to 999 (except for speed, wich doesn\'t seem to go higher than 100) and, you have a morpher wich causes over 350 damage per attack, if you use it wise, you can cause 500+ damage, or hit 5 enemies at a time ^_^! You might even Uber-Heal your characters!

But, if there\'s one character I hate, it\'s a white mage. Mainly, because it frustrates me when they heal their mates. Just when you\'ve allmost slaughtered a blue mage with Damage->MP, one of those sissies come rushing in healing the blue bastard, so that you\'ll have to do it all over. Oh JOY! And, I never use them. That\'s because I just walk up to an enemy, kill it, walk to the next one, kill it, untill there\'s nothing left to kill, and by that time, you\'ve probably won the battle, or else there\'s something REALLY wrong with your cartridge. Besides, you shouldn\'t really need healing. Most status ailments, such as Blind, are really iritating, but heal in a few turns. What\'s more, if you bring in a white mage, you can\'t bring in more than 5 attackers. So, the conclusion: White Mage = cr@p.
