Have you played any of the games? I\'ve played Chrono Trigger and, thanks to a comment of Hollow Torment\'s have played Cross

EDIT: This post just sucks. I\'m rewriting it. Have you played any of the two games? Chrono Trigger is among one of the most renowned games in VG history. Even more so than the Blue Bomber. The name is on par with Legend of Zelda and Mario in terms of famousness.

Even though Chrono Cross is not nearely as good as Trigger, although some will tell you otherwise, it\'s still worth a play.

These pair of games go hand in hand. If your brain doesn\'t hurt after playing it. You will be amazed at what Time Travel and Drama will mean to you after this unforgettable experience.

But don\'t just sit here and listen to me, play them! Chrono Cross is for Playstation and can be found in many stores. Although Chrono Trigger is for SNES, you can find an SNES cartridge on eBay. Or you could buy FFChronicles for Playstation which has a remake of Chrono Trigger as well as other memorable FF games like FFIV, FFV, and the magical FFVI

Er... just Trigger here. I can\'t even get past Flea and that guy with the sword\'s castle! I played it in that FF Chronicles pack for the Playstation.

You mean Magus, Heatman. Ah, I remember the days when Magus used to seem unbeatable.. He\'s got 6000 some HP, and well..if you want it overwith quicker bring Lucca with you for when he puts his fire weakness on.

And well, of course I\'ve played Trigger. I played Cross twice through, it\'s ashame they couldn\'t have made it longer really. Maybe they could\'ve got the characters storylines developed better. And the ending. I don\'t consider it a sequel to CT though.

I\'ve also played Radical Dreamers, but that game\'s pretty boring since it\'s text based.

That\'s Slash, but the Castle is Magus\' keep playing it! It gets really good.

Yeah, Slash is the blue Piccolo with a mustache.

I\'ve played both games in the series, I like both alot. I feel Trigger is the better game, but Cross is still really good. Unfortunately the game is also hurt when compared to Trigger, but on it\'s own merits it\'s a very good game.

There was a time when Crono Trigger was my favorite game, a few years back. When I got FF Chronicles however, I discovered that nostalga was clouding my judgement, as I didn\'t enjoy playing the game nearly as much when I was younger. I still like the game alot, but it\'s not my favorite.

Umm...well, I\'ve played Trigger, and beat it.

Lavos really isn\'t that hard... Just need a strong single attack, like Cube Toss or Arc Impulse. And well, always bring Marle...

I still haven\'t been able to beat Lavos with you-know-who on my team.

I\'ve beaten Trigger once and I\'m beating it again..... but I only saw 1 minute of someone playing Cross on the computer..... is it also a computer game or was he just playing an emulator? Id buy it if its on computer..... I dont have a playstation.

I\'ve played Chrono Cross and Trigger. I have Trigger on SNES, and Cross wasn\'t mine. However, I have beaten both.

well which one do you guys think was better trigger or cross?

Trigger, naturally.

Cross would\'ve been better without the extra characters, without the attempted connection to Chrono Trigger, and with more discs and well..time. They didn\'t have enough time to finish the storyline or the game you see, so they summed it all up in 8 paragraphs at the end of the game.

I only played Trigger on an SNES emulator. I liked it, but never got the chance to finish it...

Trigger had a love interest of sorts, Marle. Well, she certainly had a thing for Crono which was obvious. Crono seemed to like Marle too, from some Toriyama artwork and endings of the game.

I\'ve played and finished Chrono Trigger multiple times, and I believe it\'s the best RPG ever (or at least of those RPGs I\'ve played so far). It\'s almost perfectly designed, with very few plot holes (most of which have to do with time travel), as well as a very impressive soundtrack that rivals (and possibly even exceeds) that of FFVI.

By the way, I\'ve never really liked Marle that much, and I don\'t even think she looks attractive (although the game obviously wants you to think that). However, I\'ve always felt that Lucca was more so the good-looking girl there--probably because of her intelligence, her glasses, and her geekiness. (Hence, my screen name, if you know the spoiler.)

No offense to Trigger at all, but Cross has a much..prettier soundtrack.

Marle\'s a slut, getting all over a mute like that..

I agree, Cross has better music.

Oh and, they did drop the chrono Break trademark, but they did get the Chrono Brake trademark

Ahh I remember when I got Chrono Trigger it cost me like $90, but I had to have it. I have beaten both games about 2 or 3 times (I also finished Radical Dreamers but talk about a short game onlt like 2 hours long >_<) well anyway I think Trigger is a better game than Cross given that it is true Cross had some GREAT music and gameplay but IMO Trigger was just the better game.

Dreamers has more than one ending though. I just don\'t know how to save the game at the end, then play through again. Silly game.

ive beat chrono cross, but i havnt played chrono trigger.

i played both CT and CC,
and finished CT twice.

i think CC is better.
dunno why,
i just think like that.
maybe because of the weapon of the main character of CC,
it looks cool.(like me :lol:)
