I always knew my dad was one of those amusingly odd people, but what he\'s trying to do now is just, well, even odder.

My father is trying to go onto the TV show Survivor, he\'s completed the forms and talked to his commander and all that good stuff. Now he\'s having me help him video tape a 3 minute video that\'s suppose to be creative.

Does anyone have any ideas for this video? Creativeness, oddness, and anything out of the ordinary is acceptable here. It just needs to be 3 minutes long and has to do with Survivor, I\'m guessing. Remember, this is suppose to catch someones attention (whoever is suppose to watch the videos.)

Could have him dress as a Shaman, Never seen the show but its to do with being stuck on an island.

Though they might expect him to do the odd stuff on show ya know.

Explaining is easier said than done. It doesn\'t need to be extreme.

The crossdresser thing was a funny idea WindRider~ but it\'s a little too much. The monkey suit isn\'t so extreme, but it\'s still a weird and nifty idea. I don\'t watch a whole lot of Survivor myself, but it\'s similar to Road Rules, just harsher because the people in Survivor have to actually live out in the woods, or something close (I think) and compete against eachother to win however much money they give out.

My dad has to talk about himself in the video, but he doesn\'t want it to be boring. So we\'re trying to come up with something creative, like he can be outside sitting next to a tent with a fake fire going, some swedish fish in a bucket full of water next to him with a big stuffed bear in the background with him explaining about himself.

This is the best I can do to explain, if there are any other questions just ask.

Have him do stuff that people in your class do. Ya know, the stuff that gets EVERYBODIES attention. Like saying wierd things in the middle of his sppeach.

You could always have him say \"oro\" a random intervals in his speech, preferrably at the end of sentences. XD

When you have him talking, you can probably let him get hit by a bunch of pigeons... not sure how you would make that happen though. ^^;

Show him trying at a lot of camping things but failing. This will only work if you had a pool, but get a little floating chair thing and send him in the middle of the pool.

I was going to something like this but it has already been said. The worst thing is that you don\'t know which token spots have already been filled so if you\'re trying to fill that niche, you better show that you\'re the best token ____ there is. If you\'re going to tape him doing something, make sure he\'s doing it really well is my advice, I guess.

Try to stray from generic outdoorsy type scenes like fishing or setting up a tent because everyone on the planet will be trying to prove they can \'survive\' in the outdoors.

Tell me to show off his muscles for awhile, then tell him to eat leaves!

Personllay I don\'t like survivor or reallety series in general. We have them over here too, and they are all copys of the american ones, over here survivor is called robinson (can you spell ripoff?). But never mind, I feel sad thinking what manas dad is peicapating in, but hey, you do what you like, I\'m not your boss. (infact im not even employed :()

but if he is to do this heres my advice:

Film everyting your dad can do, like lift heavy stuff, cach fish, run long distances (and injure himsel in bloopers?)

make a good setting, vary the location you film at. (out in nature is good)

A good mood is required and make it look like he REALLY wants to go to that island!

You could have him try to get him stuck in a tree and fall out, then have a squirrel attack him. That would be funny.

Maybe you should make him sound like a nature show guy and make him bump into tress alot.
