Well, Shadow is in many of the Sonic games that came out since Adventure 2, so I suppose something happened... Maybe the explanation is somewhere in Sonic Heroes. I didn\'t try the game yet.

The most common idea is that lil blink of light was chaos control.
Or he is the Sonic verson of Zero.

He might die again then be brought back because he is so popular. *cough*

I played Sonic Heros and Shadow doesn\'t even know how he survived! The dude has amnesia! And I haven\'t beaten it yet so I have no clue how he did.

Dr. Robotnik found Shadow somewhere and put him in a capsule. Rouge found him at Dr. Robotnik\'s base, and woke him up. He didn\'t remember anything when he woke up.

Here are some of my theories

He fell In the ocean and somehow made it to land
When he died he was super, and if we remember sonic sonic falls all the time from space super and survived
the flash of light was chao control
The spirit of maria protected him?
Maybe he is just special

ROBOT. Thats why he doesn\'t remember anything. Which raises the question, was he a robot in Battle, or did the original die out.

Also, if you read the comics, Shadow was picked up by some*aliens*(how original), give enough power to land on the planet and then punch Sonic for waking him.

I suppose something will come up on SA3(if it ever comes out) that tells us THAT Shadow was never him. The new Shadow will appear and use the Chaos emeralds to make copies of himself more powerful than before.... :devil:

One thing that gets me is this:

If Shadow was a robot, wouldn\'t the E-10(can\'t remember the number:P) have to destroy him? I mean, he said he must destroy all of Eggman\'s robots.

Erm, he\'s not E-102 from Sonic Adventure DX, he\'s the one from Heroes. E-102 couldn\'t have tried to destroy Shadow because DX was before Sonic Battle Adventure 2, wasn\'t it?:conf:

Yes, DX was before Battle, and Gamma (I believe that the robot in DX) was

As for Omega (the one in Heroes) if you watched the beginning movie for the team with Shadow in it, you will see

when Rouge opened the capsule containing Shadow, Omega awoke and went after Shadow, not Rouge, which, implies (not directly) that Shadow is a robot, and as you progress through the story, there is a Shadow robot that you have to fight

Also, as you beat the \"evil\" side of Heroes with Shadow\'s team, you will see

Rouge enters a room with Omega standing there and she says something(cannot remember it exactly) and Omega walks deeper into the room, which is FILLED with Shadow replicants. Then she walkes outside and Shadow says something possibly about him being a robot (I\'ll quote myself in a later post)

But if I get anything wrong, I\'ll be happy to correct it later, I need to play the game again to get the full facts:lol:

He would\'ve came before Chaos, Eggman\'s whole line of DX robots were destroyed after that, which is why they do not make another appearance.

Shadow most definately did not die, considering his power and abilities that relate and coincide with sonic\'s, it\'s not improbable for him not to of died from that fall. of course, we all saw a bright flash of light as he fell towards the earth, meaning he must\'ve done something.
