Certainly it has come to everyone\'s attention that most every RPG game on the shelf nowadays has some sort of involvement with magic. Of course, it\'s obvious. Final Fantasy is no exception. What is an RPG without a magician? But, stemming from that all-important element, is the magician\'s golden crown, the elemental magics.
Fire, Ice, and Lighting. If you\'re feeling daring, maybe you\'ll discover Light, Dark, Wind, Water, Earth, and, dare I say it? Non-elemental magic! The selection is generaly reccurring.
For the most part, an RPG player will try to use elmental magic strategicly. \"Hmm, what would be the best attack when faced with an obviously combustible fire-absorbing, fire-based Bomb?\" But, beyond all of that, there is a deep, deep desire inside of all of us. We all feel it occasionally. The urge to attack a Bomb with Fire or the insatiable desire to try to use Doom on a vampire. It happens.
Why is this? Well, if you show this quality, chances are you are very much similar to myself, in that you are partial to a certain magic. I can\'t tell you all the times I\'ve completely ignored lightning resistance or absorbation and proceeded to launch a bolt of pure unbridled lightning onto a lightning resistant monster. The awesome, surging power of raining thunderbolts on my opponents with Thunder, or better yet, Thundaga. Ah....
Yes, we all move our cursor towards certain elements, even if it is merely subconcious. So, having said that, which do you find yourself using most often.
Psst... Confidentialy, I actually rarely use magic. It\'s all about the swords.;D
