well... Dont take this the wrong way, but many peaople look up to me for my art, and beleeve me, it\'s not that great.

Sometimes it is but most of the time you have peaople you dont like hanging around you, most of them knowing NOTHING about what you do! I tried that theory once, I was at a cartoon fair (Raptus if anybody knows it), there were VERY famus peaople around me like Don Rosa and Marco Rota etc. and i decided to test normal peaoples vew on popularety.

So I sat down at break time at a table with a peace of paper and a pencil and started drawing. After 2 minutes peaople started to gather around my table wanting things signed!:lol:

I was working there and had a badge saying \"emplyee\" with LARGE letters.

I guess thats what it feals like. Knowing that peaople worship you not knowing why. hahaha:lol:

hmm. to be famous on here.. THAT would be a surprise to me.

I don\'t think that I\'m really \'famous\' here. I do know that some people read my philosophical works (the little there are that exist), and ejoy them...I think.

I think the whole reason WHY I came here, and posted so much, and grew to love this board, is BECAUSE I wanted to be famous. I aspired to be famous everywhere...but I wanted to be famous here...like acceptance.

Mr. Famous from Battle Networks is so cool. I wish I could wear a labcoat and sunglasses all day. Too bad I don\'t have a labcoat and I\'m already wearing glasses.

Anyways, I think I\'m a pretty famous newbie on this board. If I\'m not famous then I don\'t know what it\'s like to be famous. If I am famous, being famous feels the same as not being famous.

On another note, I like saying the word famous. Famous, famous, famous, famous....

I may be a few bricks short of a house, and a few sandwiches short of a picnic, WindRider, but it\'s really good fun! Meep!

I always imagined it to be a social standing, in which other members act quite casually toward you, defend you, tease you occasionally, and have most everybody respect you. Maybe everyone else feels comfortable around you, you know?
However such is a trifle, a desire that the majority of us can not obtain.

Why on earth would anybody care about being famous within an internet community?

I\'m going to keep working till I get so many fans and trolls that I start assasinating high-ranking posters so that I can eventually become the OVERLORD OF INTERORDI!

Really, I don\'t know what it\'s like to be famous. I always think that I would like it, but sometimes when I get it it makes me... I don\'t know, uncomfortable.
... I\'d like to get known for my artwork though. IOekaki, people! At Interordi, same place, same username!

But yet...I don\'t believe that people become \'famous\' over the internet. Sure, there\'s the folks that get noticed. But famous? I suppose there\'s different definitions of famous.

As for people being noticed though, lets say I know what that feels like. It\'s not it\'s all cracked up to be, either. Make probably got the same problems that I did, those years ago. People start liking you, then following you everywhere, then asking for your presence in places, then asking for help all the time, then asking for use of your talents, then asking for...

Well, lets just say that the folks who \'notice\' you start to eventually drive you crazy. It\'s really tough to be famous, actually. Very time consuming.

But you can\'t be famous on the internet.

I don\'t know about that...

I mean Tycho and Gabe are pretty famous for Penny Arcade and JeffK was a bit of a celebrity himself when he got involved with the FBI.

If you don\'t know who these people are, it\'s ok. They just run (or are a part of) popular websites.

I don\'t know the Penny Arcade people. I mean, I saw some of their comics (a former friend showed them to me) and thought they weren\'t funny and were ugly,so..

As for JeffK...I think I remember him mentioned on SomethingAwful. Or maybe Portal of Evil... Either or, I dunno who they all are or what they\'ve done.

I guess the famous aren\'t famous to everyone.
