You\'re right about the retaliation comment. And had the person who was addressed retaliated, Kei\'s hands would not have been clean because his post looked like blatant provoking to me.

MegaX- You\'d understand why it was trolling if you saw Keiyoushi\'s post before I edited it. I\'m not goint to name names, but it was directed at our board\'s most infamous fan of anime girls. A person who also has responded negatively often(and I mean often) to attitudes and opinions that differ from his own.

The original comment however, isn\'t going to make it\'s way back on this board.

Hentai/Looking at naked pics of women ain\'t healthy. It could get you spoiled (If you look at it too much) and not know how to treat a women. Say someone watched/looked at hentai a lot. Then when you want a REAL women, you might not know what to do. You might be just starting to go on date, then you tell the women to get naked for ya because you might think it\'s easy like that, because you saw people undress like that a lot, so you might think anyone might do the same. After that, she would kill you, word will get out, and nobody will like you.

Well...to save face:

I really don\'t approve of Hentai, but I like Anime...like FLCL, because it depicts stories that just can\'t be depicted through other means. But Hentai is wrong in my opinion, because it is degrading the sexual and moral values of society.

I personally am not into Hentai but i think there are much worser things you guys could worry about. For instance people who are turned on by animals. Those people are the real sexual perverts.

We all have different defintions of hentai.

So we\'re arguing (or debating) because we all have different ideas of what it means.

To me, it means \"Pervert\". It also stands for a genre of anime/manga that involves sex situations. Extreme ones involve uh, tentacled monsters...

In any case.

Nudity is alright if it\'s an artform. Nudity is only \"EEK!\" if the camera is right in the woman\'s crotch and appears to be very lewd. It also rates a \"EEK!\" if it involves very kinky things.

And protecting children from sex? Not effective. There\'s kids who are what, in middle school and having sex. Parents keeping quiet about it isn\'t helping. They should have a discussion with their children on the subject of sex when the child is in either middle school or high school because hormones are rampant in those two phases.

I knew everything about that when I was that age due to having a older sister, but I wasn\'t even interested in it. =P It was like, \"Oh, eh.\"

and \'sides, children at that age really don\'t give any thought to it until their hormones go ape crazy when they\'re teenagers. =P And that teenagers tend to rebel. (You know, when you\'re told not to do something, you want to do it more?)

this has nothing to do with the topic too much but my friend has a sister whos like 8 and she loves hamtaro... she runs around the mouse going \"Bada Bada Bada\" like the hamsters or \"Ham-Hams\" as she calls them do in the show.... and she goes \"Grub Grub Grub when she\'s eating too(apperintly the hamsters do this too).... so this is an example how just watching an anime show has an effect on our youth and how annoying an 8 year old can get after being exposed to too much japanese television........

Looking at hentai hasen\'t turned me into a sexually crazed psycho who goes around attacking people with his wedding tackle like nobodies business. If you think that society is going to be destroyed by cartoon/anime porn, then I\'d say there\'s more things to worry about than hentai because, how can a child actually get his/her hands on some porn anyway? Simple...people either buy it for them or they nicked their older siblings porn magazines.

Can you imagine the chaos of people dressed as \"ham-hams\" in the worlplace in 20 years time because \"Hamtaro\" was the only thing they watched and watching that show was the only thing they did outside School? (not likely to happen anyway)

I listen to Black Metal and Death Metal bands with lyrical content that\'ll make Slipknot run for cover, has that affected me in a negative way? No, it hasn\'t. Same with porn/hentai.

But this topic is really giving me a headache because some people have stated that nudity is BADBADWRONGWRONG as well as several things. Hell, we\'ve strayed from the original point.

The point should be: we all have our different interpretations of what is bad to people and to us, etc, blah blah blah.
