Ehh....Eh.... I don\'t like em too much. You\'re using that \"How to Draw Manga\" book, right? That\'s were I learned from. I love that book!:D

Anyways, Your heads are a good bit too circular. I\'d suggesting making the characters\' chins more distinct. Also, there is not enough distinction in the characters\' arms, and the hands are quite small. The shirts have no creases or texture, and don\'t show any change in widthe throughout the course of the body.

Sorry to be so critical, but I really believe they could use some improvement.

It\'s Starfire from Teen Titans. I finished in about an hour so there\'s a dip in quality, kinda. Arguably, it\'s harder to draw on computer than by hand but today the mouse was kind to me.

Nice one, could have added some shading though, but what the hey!

About your picture Pocet, for the first ime in a while, I did an experiment.
I wanted to try to draw a character in under 8 minutes in gray style, only looking at a picture once and NOT editing my lines.

I have never seen Starfire before so I don\'t know how she actually looks, but I simply wanted to have something to do

I\'m not really mad, it\'s a great picture for someone who\'s never seen the series (were you just looking at my pic for the reference then?). She wears a two piece though (reasonable mistake for an 8 min limit).

EDIT - I was trying to get her colours right during the time I spent drawing. What prog did you use to draw?

I didn\'t feel like making another \"I drew this, so pay attention to me\" topic. There\'s no rule that says I can\'t post pics in other peoples\' threads. I also never said Mana was perfect. I\'m only saying that she\'s a much better artist.

It appears a reasonable effort was put into the drawing with all the erasing going on... but the dirty eraser marks detracts from the picture. Also, the writing on the belt on the second picture doesn\'t work very well.

I think a bit more time in editing would be a good idea. Specifically I would like to see the scans cropped. I don\'t mind large pictures but these just have white space.

When you submit things to be judged, doesn\'t it make sense for it to be judged against everything else in the pool? It would be an insult to you if people just assumed that you should be judged more leniently. If you want people to judge you knowing you\'re only been drawing for 5 weeks you should probably mention it otherwise people will assume it is the pinnacle of your skill.

Ok, first off, the program I used is called Painter Classic. It\'s an old program but I am using is temporerally as a substitute for Adobe Photoshop. The picture is bad sinse the experiment was to not edit the lines, so in other words, I can really do better :cool: .

Yes I used your picture as referance, like I said, I looked at it once and made something, I noticed she used a two peace 2 seconds after i drew the line and like I said: No edititing....



I should not have to say this (due to my lusy grammar) but using a comma once in a while makes it a whole lot easyer to read.

As for me posting my test here, was\'nt really my idea.... I have a really annoying brother who absolutley wanted me to post my test pic to compare it. (lets just say he had the day off and didn\'t find anybody else to annoy). But anyway, I agree with Pocket on this one, I think it\'s a great idea for others to post their work in the same place. That way, you can compare and learn from others.
