Dear whoever it is that hears my message,
I apologize. I apologize because I am about to place upon you the burden of a lifetime of desperate and lonely thoughts. However I can not help but tell this to somebody, for a voice cast to the wind will have no echo if the wind does not carry it to an open ear. I am yet, as of writing this, decided where it is the wind will lead, or if it will lead to the one who should hear it most.
Many spend their lives searching for something very simple. They spend their life searching for happiness. However we cannot shun such people because we are these people and our happiness is love. Ah. Love. What most fail to realize, is that the one thing they search for their entire lives, will almost undoubtedly bring them nothing but pain. However many such as myself, have long believed that they would find their happiness and it would be true. Devoid of all pain. The perfect release. Love. People such as myself are fools. They never relies that they are not the only ones searching for their life’s meaning. And what they fail to notice…more importantly…is that others will beat them too it. For two people it can be one in the same, and a common love can bring a sense of belonging to one, and a storm of grief to another. The main cause of all this confusion among us is time.
Let us imagine… person A thinks that person B is really cool and they decide to be Boyfriend & Girlfriend, and things stay that like that for a long four and a half years. Well let us not forget that Person C is still out there looking for his love.
So, when person C meets person B, and then falls in love with said person, it does not matter if Person C loves person B with all of his little heart, things will never change. This is because everybody that ever told you that “True love always triumphs!” was in fact lying. Time wins. Love will never stand up against time, no matter how great the love is, if the time is greater. I believe that this is the 4th fundamental law of the universe.
From this we can also conclude that whoever it was that first said that “All is fair in love and war.” Probably never took part in either.
All of this troubles me deeply. I cannot sleep knowing that the one I love is with another due to the nature of time.
I can not eat knowing that the one I love will never love me, even if I can’t blame them for it.
I cannot breath knowing that I will never have either the strength or the courage to tell them any of this…and so I will also never have peace of mind.
Thank you for listhing to my story…I thank the wind.
Always true,
~BlueSilver~
