the best soul in megaman battle network 4 is proto soul and seach soul. about seach soul , when you charge up you can shoot the enemy no matter where is it . And the proto soul , when you have a sword chip with you , you can charge the chip by holding A button to do the step sword and do some axtra damage.

That does NOT neccesarily render them the best. It is out of personal opinion in which you posted them in favor.

The usefulness of a soul is derived from your personal battling style. Favoring swords would in turn make you biased, in believing that Proto Soul is the most valuable. The \'cool\' factor of a soul also greatly varies the opinions on it by people much like yourself. In truth, their is no \'best\' soul, simply preference. There are impractical souls such as the Proto Soul, however.
The abilities it lends are far from useful, and it, also, looks like a power ranger wannabe.
My preference is most likely Number Soul, very useful in conjunction with the folders I formulate.
