its been a while since i been here and because Elburito handed the mike over to me i will now start my first ever official Spriting contest :D.


Rules

1. All sprites must be edited, at my rule
ex: you can\'t just change like 1 or 2 things
2.The sprite base must be from the megaman seris
ex:you can use megaman zero sprites but not zero from SNK etc.
3.THEY MUST BE YOUR OWN!!
4. All sprites must be one week before this post or after this post.
5.sprites must be provided with a url or posted. I will not search through your site to look for sprites.
6.Sprite sheets are more impressive and may be more impressive.

Sprite SHEET rules
1. They have to be new, it takes a bunch of time to make a sprite sheet, some people have already made some, don\'t enter those, make new ones.
2.Recolors are not very impressive, or hard.




But there is a few thing\'s new with this contest. There will be a process where you must pm me your name this will allow me to keep track of who will be entering. I will stop taking intrees on the 17th, The 18th is when the contest will take place offcially on this thread and end may 8nd.

The last new thing is there will be an american model type of thing. there will be 3 rounds you can only enter one sprite each round, a round will end on a friday and i will cut a certain amount of people so others can go to the next round. If you dont understand think of it as a kind of tournament. You Must have at least one sprite each week or you will be cut.

The winner will recieve a chance to get the first ever Golden MIB Goku award.

Well, for alot of people they\'re easy to edit. And some people don\'t like making chaos.

It would be nice though if they had different sprite bases for these competitions every once in a while.

ok, im working on mine, but its not easy. im trying to do a female character, but theres not much to work with.

it doesnt matter as long as you have a different one each week. But if you want to stay in each round i suggest you make a new one each week, that way you show more skill and increase your chances of going to the next round.

oh,thanx for the tip,but the only problem is that i get alot of homework each week,but that is probibly going to be solved cuz all of the schools in my county might go on stirke for 2 weeks,yepie:D:D:D

well nayus dante for my county for about 5 weeks now they said \"strike looms ahead\" but today in the paper they said \"board locks teachers out for monday\" (this up coming one that is) so i figure i\'ll get about 2 weeks off school witch will get me more time to get my sprite sheets done for this contest and i\'m curantly working on \"projct buster knight zero\".

Axlgs, you can\'t show images directly from your comp. You have to upload it to a server then place the url of the img inbetween the image tags.

Well, heres my first entry. I actually started working on it the second I saw the new contest. they are fully scratch\'ed ones, as I\'ve said before, I don\'t like to manipulate other peoples work, kind of makes me feal like I\'ve stolen something.... Oh well. I was actually going to make it into an animation, but my gif program stopped working and I have 2 exams comming up so I don\'t have the time right now...

uh snakeman, for some reason i cant see yours. axlgs thats a good sprite, but the jpeg is hurting my eyes.
