SnakeMan.EXE, I think you may be losing it a little. That first set of sprites weren\'t up to your standards. They\'re still good, but not as good as usual.

Okay thats it...I\'m definitly saying that Snakeman works for Capcom! I am freaking sure!

Well, all the pictures on sprites inc arent showing up, so i may need an extra day or so. If theres nothing by tomorrow, ill finnish with what i have and submit. I really wanted to put more effort into this final submission, but all this school work and sprites inc being down really was a bother.

Also, i dont think you can submit two entries snake. One is a jpeg too. Im also beginning to wonder about his association with capcom. We need to put a disclaimer up that voids family and members of capcom staff. Do you give private lessons?

The only reason ive been doing female sprites is because i feel its original and noone else is doing it. I like to be completely original with my work.

Im going to animate this tomorrow morning. Im going to bed now and im supprised i got this done considering how few sheets i had to work with.

Very impressive Snakeman, i see you have been making some sprites of the old series lately, i hope you havent done Giminei man yet, i kinda want that to be my first Custom sprite

Actually... I\'ve made designs for all robotmasters that havent been made into EXE form, Gemini man was designed 2 days after the release of MMBN2, but don\'t worry, I wasn\'t happy with the design. Even if I was, I would really like to see your version of him (anyones version really), creative thinking is something I admire, go for it.

well, he hasnt judged yet, so i guess itd be fine as long as its new. And snake, im just wondering, but what percent of your sprites actually came from the rockman games? They look mostly like you did them from scratch.

Nothing was from megaman games exept for the Explosion and the arrows, had to put them there since one of Crashman.exe\'s attacks follow the same pattern as a virus... also since that\'s the Explotion the game uses.

Taking parts from MM characters and paisting them together goes against my princilpes (hard to think I have some, eh?). I have never remodeled a sprite and never will. Sound a bit highheaded, but thats how I like to do things....

But isnt that the point of the competition? After all, its a custom sprite competition, not a new sprite competition. I like them and all but....

I had a talk with Master Tiger about that, there are no obligations about using fully scrached sprites. Besides, I don\'t think I would have wanted to enter if that was the case, theres just no fun in it for me . I like to draw, thats the reason I came here

I hate to ask this..but what program do you guys use to make/edit your sprites? I would like to get into doing that.

how about photoshop?

do not use MS PAINT. it sucks.

NO!!! Photoshop is for texturing and pretty stuff, NOT sprites. Paint is the best program for spriting because it is so easy to edit pixel by pixel.

On a side note, the outcome was as expected. Whens the next one? I love these competitions cuz they get me to actually get around to spriting. Otherwise my tallent would deteriorate. Doesnt matter if i win, as long as i progress enough.

The next one Im hosting will be at RMW sometime in the future. As for interordi here, snakeman has the option of taking the mic and hosting the next one, or passing it on to someone else (think very carefully on who you choose )

ahh ok paint...that\'s actually what I thought...because I know you can zoom 8x and do pixel art like crazy
