I just read in Game Informer that the next GC Metroid game will have multiplayer! Also, a new character, which sort of looks like a male version of Samus, is making an appearance! The graphics are incredible! I\'d post a link to screenshots, but I don\'t have any. Sorry... However it\'s close to being on the same level as Halo in terms of character models. The backgrounds, however, seem a bit lacking.

Yes, I saw about the same in EGM...but where do you see this MALE Samus? I dont even want to think of how they will fit that into the storyline...*shuder*

And despite some haters, I love the old controlls, and hope they make a return.;)

Yes, Zero, MP2 has been known about for a while.

So, they\'re bringing Houston into this game, eh? That\'s kinda cool. He was in the old NP Super Metroid comics (Viewable here) but that was it. Multiplayer would be kind of interesting as well. I\'d like to see how they do this. If Prime 2 is anything like the first one, it\'s going to kick some serious @$$.

About the \"male\" thing. It\'s just a guess. There\'s a screenshot with a character that looks like Samus, but the armor looks more masculine than that of Samus (althought I did think Samus was a guy for several years, and I thought her name was Metoid).

I cant find the pic of the guy. And as Unknown knows, it takes me like 10 mins. to load a single image, so any non-pic explanation is thanked in advance.

There was a male character in armor that looked somewhat similar to Samus\'s in the Super Metroid manga.

The nightmare has come true, multiplayer Metroid.

They take a game that\'s supposed to be about being all alone in space fighting off weird creatures...and add a pointless multiplayer function with multicolored Samusi.

Lovely.

The suit is more plolygonal than Samus\'s, by that I mean it looks like it has more sharp edges. It\'s completely black except for some little light-looking things. It\'s also more muscular looking.

Anyway, I just hope that the multiplayer won\'t be a Death Match option, but hey, it might turn out to be good actually ^^

Even if the multiplayer isn\'t good, the story mode should be.

I don\'t think that something they add to a game should bring down the whole. If the story mode kicks ass, you can just ignore the VS mode, and the game will be pure shooter harmony right? If they give you a lamo Air freshener with that brand new Dodge Viper, you won\'t hold that against your car will you?
